This company is meh. They had the best deal when I signed up in Sept 2022 but it took 6 months to get my solar up on the house and another 3 months before it was hooked up with the city. When we were first signing up (before giving our deposit), they would contact us weekly! But after they got our deposit, all communications cut off. So the first 6 months, the communication was the worse customer service I ever dealt with. I tried to reach out the “person of contact” and my “sales rep” but not a response at all until I called the office and asked for a manager or the owner. That’s when I finally got some type of update/communication. All I ever was looking for was an update on where we were at in the process. All they had to do was tell me, they were backed up or were waiting for shipment or I was the last on the totem pole.
However the guys that came out and installed the panels were awesome and very communicative. Jesse kept us updated with what they were doing and the next steps that needed to be done. He told us the inspection process, the electric company process, as well as estimated timing. He had no problems with communicating.
Highly recommend getting panels. We love our solar panels and would definitely recommend it but their customer service and communications needs to be better. If they’re the best deal you can get, just know you pay the price for the customer service you’re about to get.
I've been exploring the idea of adding solar to our home for a while, but was not sure if it made the most sense for me. I finally made the decision to start talking with some local companies and reached out to Ross and EightTwenty as I had previous interactions with him and their staff. Ross was quick to take the information I provided with our energy usage, our home layout and have their team come up with a plan that would give us the best results. Ross and their team stayed in close contact, explained the specific details around the process, from getting our financing approved to working with the city and HOA for needed contracts for install, to getting the install scheduled and completed. The install itself was smooth and quickly done and outside of the panels on the roof their cleanup efforts were superb leaving no sign they were ever there. Even when our city took forever to get the inspection done (their team sat at our house for 3 days waiting for calls back from the city that never came), Ross and Josh at EightTwenty were great about communicating with us about what was being done and what to expect. Overall, it was a great experience, clear and concise communication, and would happily recommend their company to anyone seeking to add solar to their home!

The entire process went quickly and smoothly. So glad I used this company! The installation team was prompt and professional. I really like that the electrical engineers and installing electricians are within the company, this made it very easy. Love the quality of the solar system.

Took almost 8 months after signing the contract to get functional panels. The whole time they blamed the city of Tulsa, PSO, our lender, anything but accepting any responsibility at all. I understand things happen but continually blaming others is weak, man. Not cool.

I've been with EightTwenty for 2 years. This is hands down the best company to work for. They really do invest in their employees an care about their families. I get to go out, meet amazing people, and put solar on customer's houses,barns, businesses,etc. It has been absolutely awesome watching this company grow into what it is today.
