I hired R&D for a kitchen renovation. At the beginning, the project ran fairly smoothly and the “completed” project was beautiful. My project was “completed” in June 2023 and by August 2023, I noticed a smell in the kitchen area, cracks along the floor tiles and backsplash, and cracking where the cabinets meet the ceiling. I hired a plumber to investigate and he identified that the kitchen plumbing was faulty. The kitchen sink pipe was not connected to anything and all the water was spilling into the crawlspace. To make matters worse, months of water in the crawlspace had created a mold infestation throughout the kitchen and adjacent areas. The mold remediation process was not only costly but also disruptive to my family's well-being. Moreover, their negligence has destabilized the foundation of my home, requiring re-leveling to prevent further structural damage. Attempts to communicate and resolve the issues with R&D have been futile up to this point. They have been very slow to respond and have yet to provide corrective actions. They claim they will take full responsibility and remedy the situation but we are going on 9 months of no progress. The last communication I received said that they located the Subcontractor they used for my kitchen and suggested I file a claim with their insurance. Months ago, I was told that their Subcontractor had already filed a claim and they were waiting for the outcome. I say that to note that it’s been impossible to get a truthful answer as to what is really going on and when this matter will be settled. I urge anyone considering hiring R&D to proceed with caution. Their poor vetting of their Subcontractor not only resulted in a botched renovation but also inflicted significant damage to my property and finances. This is all very disheartening for me as I had admired R&Ds work from a far and was excited to work with them on this renovation. It’s unfortunate to realize that once they receive their final payment, there is no accountability for the work performed.

I contacted them for a estimate on a deck and hot water heater damage inside my home and they kept giving me the run around as to when they were going to get me an estimate. When they were supposed to be at my house they never showed up and never contacted me about any reason.

As a designer, I’ve worked with this business for over 7 years and I refer all my clients to them. They are also my first call for my personal home. The owner really cares about his clients and wants them happy. I can’t say greater things about this company! Big fan!

Did a very thorough installation of tile over a difficult subfloor. They spent the time necessary to prepare the floor and didn't charge any extra for what I think took longer than what they were expecting. R&D will be getting more work from us over the next few years. Thanks Guys P.S. Accommodated with CDC safety protocols with no problem.

R&D had done many remodeling jobs for me over the past several years. Raul has always had an eye for details. His last job in my home in NW OKC is shown in the attached photos. Scope of work on this home included the painting, tile work, remodeled bathroom and re-plastered and tiled the pool. Very nice!
