Considering employment here? They’re looking for them “young, dumb, and stupid” I was employed by Allied Energy/Clean Residential Energy for two weeks in their call centre before resigning. Upon interview I was told that the position would not be working with cold leads and would instead be targeting warm leads. During my time there my experience was exclusively cold calling leads to generate interest in the Net Metering Program and to set up an appointment with an energy consultant with Clean Residential Energy. I was given a script to memorise after the interview. The training for this role consisted of sitting in a conference room and rehearsing the script for a couple of hours. I understood upon starting the role that I would only be paid for time spent on the phone and that this is monitored closely. None of the leads supplied were warm leads, they all were purchased in bulk from a variety of sources. One gentleman I called informed me that he hadn’t lived at the stated address for 12 years, meaning that that lead was at least 12 years old. This was not uncommon. There were sporadic meetings deemed training sessions throughout weeks 1 and 2 where the call centre team were taken off of the phones to again sit and listen to each team member rehearse their script. This of course meant time off the phone not being paid. Employees from the door-to-door team would start their day around lunchtime with a team huddle at the office. This often resulted in a very noisy working environment. During my time there, 4 people that had started in the call centre on the same day as me were sacked, each time by text or telephone after they had finished their shift. 3 other people quit within my two weeks there. On my last day there I overheard the management team discussing the strategy for recruiting the next round of employees to the call centre and I heard them clearly state they were looking for them “young, dumb, and stupid”. All of the above is factual and not based on opinion. My opinion would be to avoid this company as a prospective employee or customer.

The crew at Clean Residential Energy are amazing!! They did an amazing job from start to finish. Andy and Austin did an amazing job explaining everything and made the process so simple. They're both so kind,, honest and trustworthy young men who know alot about solar. I can't wait to tell all my neighbors about this company and these wonderful young men.

Got 13 panels and a new 200A breaker panel. Good experience, would recommend. Austin was helpful and we didn't have to wait long for the install.

Wonderful company to work with! They are very responsive to questions you may have about your panels even after installation. The installers were very professional and polite. The owner is amazing and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the investment you make in them and the panels! So happy I went with them for my solar needs

Had a great experience with Austin! He was very communicative and addressed all our concerns and questions promptly. We're awaiting to see how this whole system works out for us in the long term, but our experience working with this company so far has been stellar!
