Ballard Construction has completed two projects for us, a total primary bath remodel and an expansive deck that needed rebuilt from the ground up! They are extremely professional and detailed in their work. I had a specific idea of what I wanted and Josiah was very patient and listened to all my ideas and executed them fabulously. We will be using Ballard for all our future home improvements.
Ballard Construction is awesome!! Kevin and Brody did a great job even with everything against them on the first day. They showed up and started working even after all the tools for the job were stolen. They just bucked up and purchased more tools and didn't skip a beat. They got the job done faster than we thought. Super friendly and professional. Marisa in the office was on top of keeping us updated and getting us any info or paperwork we needed. We can't say enough.

We booked with Ballard excited about the positive reviews and the appeal of working with a small local family run business. The prices were competitive. We contracted out a large concrete patio (16 x 44), a front retaining wall and walkway.
The concrete batch they received was bad (which they have acknowledged in writing) - but only half of the bad concrete was replaced and the rest poorly patched. Not only is the bad concrete an eyesore but within a week of pouring the front retaining wall and walkway have already cracked. The back patio pad was poured in two batches and doesn't match in color or surface finish. We told this is just because "one half is dirty" and we should just power wash it. We were also told work we thought was included in the bid was extras and that they had actually done us favors for free.
Overall the work was expensive and disappointing in quality and the response to our concerns during and after the project was blown off or excused away.
I genuinely wish we had worked with the company in the reviews here because it definitely wasn't our experience and now we are stuck saving again to afford to have someone replace the poor quality work done by Ballard.

Ballard Construction did an amazing job installing our new kitchen floors and repaired a few cosmetic issues in our kitchen. Communication was great and timeline of our project was done on time. They also made a custom wooden window sill for us that we adore so much! We are so happy with the outcome of our kitchen project and would definitely use them again in the near future.

Ballard Construction...So what haven't I used them for would be the question they built a shop for me and it looks phenomenal. It took longer than they expected and they pivoted when I needed them to putting in ductless air and heat through out and water faucet outside. It was a learning experience for both of us. Then I had them take out my sidewalk and pour a new one and that was completed very quickly. Now they have gutted my entire house and are in the process of remodeling it. Timeline is ahead of schedule and communication has been on point and what I have needed to instill complete confidence in them. I will continue to use them on future projects...boy do I have some challenges coming their way in the future. Looking forward to enjoying my house for the second half of the year. Thank you for working with me not against me and making a novice at this feel like she can conquer the world. :)
