Had an awful, unprofessional experience. Job was told it would get done “same day”. Showed up late, quoted me something significantly different once they showed up, measured the window thickness by “tapping on the window” even after physically measuring the glass in the store, left and didn’t call back. I called the store hours later, the owner Brett cussed me out after I asked him simple questions regarding my broken window. He sounded very drunk, hung up. I called back and asked for him to clarify why that just happened and just wanted a clear explanation. He said he could get two guys out tomorrow to do the window. I asked what time and what their names would be and he became profusely racist about his workers and didn’t know their names. “I don’t know one is a brown guy and one has brown hair I don’t know what does it matter!” He did the same thing again, cussing, yelling, got even angrier and hung up again. Would not recommend this business to anyone. As a nurse and a business owner this is not how you treat a patient or a customer.

I went on this morning to get replacement glass panel cut for my garage door. Gave them my measurements. Paid, got my glass in a very timely fashion. Drove home after work, went to install and panicked. Glass was a couple inches short. Thought it was my measurements. Remeasured opening. Nope, my measurements were good. Measured the glass, 2 inches too short. Crap, so drove back down to portland. 50 minutes....got a second piece. Should of never left with put measuring it......it's not square. 40.5 one side. 40.125 on the other side......to long to fit into opening......not happy at all. We shall see if they reimburse me since I had some else cut it to size now....

Get it in writing! Alpine Glass just replaced a sunroom window for me and it looks great. The problem arose when I went to pay the bill and it turned out to be $300 more than I’d been quoted! An Alpine employee had come out, assessed the situation, told me that “stops” were missing and that I needed tempered, double-paned glass. The owner then called me with a quote, which I accepted over the phone. Then, with the work done today, I called to pay and—get this!—the owner said the quote had been for single-paned glass and not included the necessary securing hardware. I wound up “compromising” and paying an extra $60 for the stops, on top of the original quote. And HE seemed aggrieved! This is a 3-star review because the work was good—but they have lost my future business. Be sure, if you use this company, that you are clear on what the job actually is, and that they are too.

Alpine Glass replaced window glass and a sliding door glass that had failed. From the measuring, to the ordering and scheduling of the installation - I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and communication with me. The installers were very knowledgeable, polite and cleaned up the worksite perfectly. I will be using their services again.

This is a great shop. I had them cut for me 2 pieces of double strength glass. They cut it perfectly and it took about 5 minutes. The cuts were exact. Reasonable price, had the glazing points and glazing putty. Clean and well organized shop. Great parking. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. As a contractor, price, quick service and knowledgeable staff is extremely important to me and my clients. Thank you.
