Bachelor General Contractor worked on an extensive remodel of my condo in SE Portland. From beginning to end, everyone in the company was professional, responsive, and really helped me to realize what I had pictured in my head and even exceeded my expectations! This is my first home that I have owned and I wanted to make it my own, and with the work done I am excited every time I come home. I cannot recommend Bachelor General Contractor enough!
I have worked with Ethan and Connie on several projects and I think they are just great people. They are very conscientious and focused on excellence. I give them 5 stars and hope I have the good fortune of working with them again soon.

Bachelor General Contractor hits all the major qualities of a great general contractor. Great communication both face-to-face, phone, and through their online platform. From the start of the bidding process all the way to project close, I always felt up-to-date. With the their online platform it was easy to see where we were with costs, changes, and schedule. The company truly functions as a team, and I appreciated that no matter who I talked to, everyone seemed to be on the same page. I should also comment on BGC's subs. From my viewpoint, they seemed to have built strong relationships with some high quality sub-contractors and they were very transparent at the times when they felt it was worth shopping around for better cost-quality/value.

We hired Bachelor to design and remodel our kitchen in our 1940s house. The project included removing/replacing the outdated cabinets, floors, ceiling, the sink, backsplash, and some of the walls. Brian and the team were professional and did great work, and they finished on time. We went through a few iterations of designing the space, and I appreciate their flexibility in making adjustments to the layout as needed. We were living in our house while the remodel was taking place, and they were helpful in sealing off the work area while helping us set up a functional cooking space in the dining room. They were very responsive when any issues came up that needed attention. Overall we're so happy with the results!

Great experience using Bachelor General Contractor. Brian has been a good friend of ours and was our first choice to remodel our new home. His crew is amazing and instantly became part of the family. We lived in our home during construction and they all made us feel comfortable and was actually quite fun having them around. The finished product is amazing and we are very glad we chose BGC.
