This was my first experience working with Edelen Doors & Windows and they were excellent: fast, professional and thorough! In less than 24 hours from making the service call, my garage door and Overhead opener system were tuned and fully operational. Edelen's technician, Kevin, contacted me to set an appt time and he called in advance to confirm an on-time arrival as a courtesy. Kevin has been with Edelen for years and he fielded my inquiries with precision to let me know how well the ~70-yr-old 2-car wide wooden door and Overhead lift should continue to work now that all parts had been tightened, tuned and lubed. Could not have asked for better service, and decent pricing!

I have had Edelen service our overhead garage door a few times over the years. Always thought they were very professional and courteous. Their prices seemed a little high, but I liked their service, so didn't mind. That changed when I asked them to replace my side garage door. The quote for the labor cost seemed a bit outrageous to me. It was a least 500$ over other quotes. Sadly, they never replied to me again after I asked for a breakdown of the labor fees. Truly unfortunate for them, because I am planning to have my overhead garage door replaced soon as well.

The spring on our garage door broke unexpectedly (as springs always do). A friend gave me the name of Edelen. I called, not expecting someone to be available on the same day. But, delightfully, Kevin was available. He arrived in less than 2 hours from my initial phone call. He moved fast, he knew what he was doing, and he was friendly. I have to say that his service and expertise were stellar. Little did I know that garage doors should be maintained and tuned up regularly. I have to say that he went above and beyond for me. Both of our doors are now working very acceptably. Of course, I don't want to spend additional money but if service or doors are needed in the future, I'd be happy to contact them again.

Good luck getting these guys to do anything. I went in for a new garage door. Simple replacement. It took three months for them to finally install it. In the end it was what I wanted, good price, and the installation was well done and quick, but there was no communication up to that point. I had to regularly call them and go in person to try and get any information on what was even happening with my door, because they never gave me an update on what was happening or when I should expect the installation. I got a lot of confusion and promises that they'd call me back, which they never did. I never even signed or agreed to a final price. They originally gave me a non final estimate and then in the end they send me an invoice, with no information on how to pay it or by when to pay it. Luckily the invoice was that initial non final estimate, which I was fine with. I called them to ask how to pay, they said they could send me an email. I gave them my email, verified it three times, and never got an email. After a few days I went in person, paid it, and got out of there. Throughout these three months I was also trying to get some doors in my house replaced. Had the same problems. The guy said he'd get me some estimates, he'd send some guy out to measure, and get the install scheduled. None of that ever happened. I called to ask for updates. They said they'd call me back. They never did. I ended up giving up on him. When I went in to pay for the garage door he clearly recognized me, but had no memory of all the things he said he was going to do that he never did. Ultimately, it's not hard to install windows and doors and they don't make any of the actual products so you'd end up fine. This complete lack of communication and information is unacceptable though.

Had new openers put in this past year and did a great job as usual. Have used Edelen for residential and business over 20 years. They do good work whether it is maintenance or new installs and stand behind there products. Had a sync issue with the new garage openers recently. Came out and coordinated with the manufacture to fix on site. Really appreciate the customer service they provide.
