Great job! Workers were friendly and quick. My garage looks brand new. Excellent quality. If you're looking to redo your garage floor, they are the one to call.

Regarding our bathroom remodel and Laundry closet build: Very unhappy with the quality of work and the main person that was assigned to do our job. He was very careless and sloppy. In spite of a great office staff and middle man, Joe, when all was said and done, we were left with two big problems that we're stuck with. #1. Laundry closet was designed such that I can't fully open my dryer door (only opens 10"). Unfortunately opening the dryer door wasn't taken into account when the closet was built. When the dryer door problem was discovered at the end, the closet opening should have been modified. Instead, we were told it should be fine. Yeah, I know that going back and modifying the closet opening sucks, but it should have been done correctly. I have a lot of difficulty loading and unloading my dryer. #2. Bathroom tile work is sloppy. *Some tiles are not laying flat on the floor. They stick up slightly on one end. *A few tiles on the wall aren't flat as well. *No caulk between the floor and wall joints. *Grout areas between the tiles aren't uniform. Some spaces are thin while other spaces are thick. *The tile cuts on the opposite sides of the top front boarder of the shower stall corners don't match. I hide this with my shower curtain. In the end, this is what we were left with. The dryer door problem is definitely a functional problem, while the sloppy tile job is aesthetic. The main person that did our job was a jack of all trades and master of none! We paid top dollar for handyman style work. We've been getting review requests from Boates Brothers for months now. We were hesitant to leave a harsh review so we didn't respond. However, three recent requests gave us the option to click a special link if we were unhappy. The review was supposed to go directly to Boates and they would contact us to address our issues. We did that twice and asked that they contact us to discuss. We never heard from them. This time, we decided to go straight to google to leave our review. ***Aside from the two permanent issues I discussed above, it's worth mentioning how the job was left upon completion. We were instructed not to walk on the tile floor for 24 hrs. so we didn't go into the bathroom to examine the completed work. Unfortunately we noticed the following problems the day after paying in full. 1. Leaks everywhere; plumbing under the sink, behind the toilet and behind the shower. 2. Vanity sink faucets were installed incorrectly. (I fixed these) 3. The toilet and sink were not level. (By a lot) 4. Bathroom and hall closets spackle was not sanded and the closets weren't primed. (They were supposed to be) 5. Drywall screws (screwed in on an angle from inside my new medicine cabinet) were used instead of the screws that came with it. 6. Grab bar near the toilet was VERY loose. Wood reinforcement that was supposed to be placed behind the tile was put in the wrong spot. 7. Grout on bathroom floor was two different shades. Worker tried to fix this with caulk between tiles. Joe ultimately came out and cleaned this out and re-grouted the floor tile. On a positive note, Joe, who is a tile guy laid the shower floor tile and it was perfect. We wish he would have done the whole tile job. The next day, when we called Boates, they immediately dispatched Joe. He came out and did a great job cleaning up the other guy's mess. He was prompt, apologetic and assured us one of the Boates brothers would be in contact with us. They never called. Attached are some final pics of the bathroom tile and the laundry closet where I can't fully open dryer door. Also attached are pics of how my job was left upon completion, which some of which Boates corrected.

Complete renovation of two bathrooms. Very professional. Affordable. Explanation of day’s work upon arrival. Attentive to details. Very happy with both rooms. Recommend! Update May 2024: Boates Bros did a wonderful job leveling portions of our back patio pavers as well as power washed, installed new poly sand, sealer and enhancer on patio, driveway and walkways. Excellent job!

Boates Brothers did a wonderful job building our covered front porch. We've received many compliments on this from neighbors and friends. Everyone who worked on this project from quoting to demo of the old patio to construction was great to work with. They answered all of our questions along the way and were easy to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.

As first time home owners, your first big (unexpected) repair can be overwhelming and stressful. We had some flooding during the storms this past December and called a few places. After boates brothers came out for the estimate and talked with us, we decided right away they were the ones we wanted to do the work on our house based on their knowledge and thoroughness. We had some interior work done by them , and also a major week long exterior project done that ended up being a lot more invasive than originally expected due to issues with the foundation to our house. They were awesome all around - from communication, the actual work they did, to clean up. I work from home and every time I happened to look outside the guys were working hard. We are looking forward to using them again for the interior restoration and for any other projects that come up in the future. Thank you to the whole team and especially want to shout out Alan, G, Joe and Nicole (and Ernie of course). We appreciate you guys!!
