Overall

We purchased a furnace and air conditioner unit from Schneiders in 2011. Our furnace quit working for the second time on Nov. 2, 2023. I called first thing that morning for service/repair and the secretary put me on the waiting list. Today is Nov. 8, 2023 and I haven't heard from them yet. I call again. They tell me that since I'm not a member of their Comfort Club, which costs $215.88 yearly, they cannot repair the furnace I purchased from them at this time. My wife and I aren't young and it's been six days without heat.
Therefore, the next time I purchase a heating and/or air conditioning unit, it will NOT be from Schneiders! I strongly do NOT recommend them.

Customer service is a joke. They literally will not schedule a service appointment unless you pay them a monthly fee to join some kind of comfort club. Absolute scam of a business. I spent $8k on a system with them and am now treated like garbage.
I recommend Cunningham Shanor, they were able to instantly schedule a very prompt service appointment even though I am not a previous customer.

We have had wonderful service in the past till today. Now if you do not purchase their comfort service they will not honor or service your air conditioner even though you bought a warranty through them. At first she said there was no appointments and then said the first available was June 9th.

I had a three year contract with the company that was bought out. My third service was due in January 2024. They said they could not honor that contract but I could join their club and they would send a technician. The person they sent had no clue what GEO Thermal system was. I told the tech that I did not want their service. They charged me in April for the "club" . When I called they told me I would have to honor the contract for a year! When I asked to speak to a manager no one was available because they were very busy. They had no email address to send information of my dissatisfaction. I am disputing the charge because an unqualified person was sent to service my system. I don't want to do business with a company that has no credibility.

I paid for comfort club membership for over twenty years. About 5 years ago I switched from oil to an electric boiler system which I purchased from and was installed by One Hour. Each year I called and scheduled a tune up in the fall and each time when techs arrived it seems that none of them were familiar with this system. So basically they were getting paid to stand there and scratch their heads. Then on the coldest day of the year, one degree, my boiler went down. Called One Hour for emergency service and was told, happy to help, I can have someone there in two weeks! What have I been paying for all these years? Called Cunnigham Shanor and they had a knowledgeable tech here in 40 minutes and boiler was up and running in no time.

In April, 2023, I had One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning install a new heat pump for me, and joined the Comfort Club. In September, I made an appointment for November 7 for routine annual heating system maintenance. On Thursday, November 2, when my oil furnace turned on (perhaps for the first time since April), it was making a loud vibrating noise.  It was too cold for the heat pump to maintain the house temperature, so I called One Hour for emergency service, I was told that they could have someone out on Wednesday, Nov 8.  I told them since I already had an appointment for maintenance on Nov 7, that there was no need for emergency service on Nov 8. In late afternoon on Nov 6, One Hour called and said that they had a technician available to do my maintenance that evening.  He arrived after dark about 6 PM and did maintenance on the oil furnace, and repaired the noise. He did not do any maintenance on the heat pump.  It was dark outside.  I called One Hour on the morning of Nov 7 to see if someone was still coming out to do heat pump maintenance that day at the time I had scheduled in September.  Also, I discovered that my heat pump was now not working.  However, my Nov 7 appointment had been cancelled, and they said they could send someone out on Nov 8, delaying my going out of town on Nov 8. So emergency service means 6 day response, which I find unacceptable, especially as a Comfort Club member.  Maintenance only did half the job (oil furnace only) and cancelled the rest (heat pump maintenance). Then I can't get anyone out until Nov 8, even though I had scheduled Nov 7 maintenance way back in September.
I'm not sure what "One Hour" means, and "Always on time or you don't pay a dime" also does not seem to mean what it says.

I bought a new AC/ heating unit off of this company. The AC unit has needed major repairs every year, starting 3 months after it was installed. The Heater has also has had to be fixed twice, and has had 2 major recalls that took this company almost a year to do the fixes, despite the recall being for spontaneous fires occurring because of a faulty part. I woke up this morning with no heat (again). Called the company and was told unless I joined their club for $400 they couldn’t schedule me for at least 2 weeks. The club fee does not cover service calls, parts or labor, it only bumps you ahead of people who aren’t members. I told them to shove their club and I called Armstrong Comfort Solutions and they had a tech here within a 1/2 hour. The furnace needs the computer component that controls the power replaced. I found my paperwork from when One Hour said they switched this component out as one of the recalls. I called the manufacturer myself to complain about needing 2 computer components in less than a year. They had me read of the serial number of the piece that was currently in my furnace. Guess what? One Hour never switched it out with the component Goodman (the manufacturer) sent. The serial # was the original one that came with the furnace. This was the piece that could cause a fire, which was why it needed replaced. It is a $1200 part. Thankfully, it didn’t cause a fire. So One Hour kept the replacement part, and I am assuming used it for another customer (and charged them for it) and didn’t care if my house burned down. I would strongly advice everyone to stay away from this company, because 1. They sell inferior products 2. They don’t honor the warranty 3. They do not fix dangerous recalls in a timely manner 4. They want you to pay $400 just to be able to use their services (this is in addition to the $200 service call fee, hourly labor and up-priced parts fees) 5. They charge for work they do not do and don’t replace parts (that have been paid for by the manufacturer) that have caused fires (the reason for the recall). I plan on investigating my legal options concerning the missing computer component . This isn’t Schneider’s anymore. It was bought out about 2 years ago, that is why they still have a high rating. If you look back they have received mostly one star ratings since the change.

I made an appointment in the beginning of July 2022 to get an estimate for the installation of a residential & commercial system. The actual day of the appointment I believe took place around 7/8/22.
The sales rep Bob McGuire showed up on time but didn't seemed interested in the project due to the fact that I owned all of the brand new carrier equipment (still in boxes) and would only need One Hour Heating & Air to provide duct work and labor (which could have been in access of $5k).
During his walk through of the project/site inspection he knocked over a can of black rust-oleum paint from the second story window of the building causing it to land on a brand new polished 5,000 sqft. concrete floor.
As the paint spread on the floor causing more & more damage Bob didn't didn't offer or ask to help clean the spill at all.
He stood there and watched me clean it up on my hands and knees.
As I did my best to clean the paint from my new concrete floor, I was more shocked about his lack of help than the actual spill itself.
After his site visit or site disaster, I never got an email, text or phone call communicating an apology or lack of interest in bidding the project or anything for that matter.
I ultimately tried reaching out 2 times without a response to either of my voice mails.
The only hope I have at this point is either Bob (sales Rep) or the Owner denies this allegation /review so I can post the entire video of the event instead of one still photo of the damaged floor after spending nearly $2,200.00 on chemicals, acid and concrete grinding to get it to it somewhat current semi-respectable condition it is in.
The only option I have at this point aesthetically, is to apply an epoxy (which will change the entire vibe of the building) to the entire floor which will cost in excess of $15k.
