Ask questions and demand details when getting a quote from this company. We called on this company to do what they deemed to be a smaller job. It took about a week to get the quote, and when we did it was as vague as possible, in that none of the charges were listed along with the quoted jobs that were being done. It was simply "labor", "caulking", "siding" and "painting". Even after asking questions I never got any clear answers as to what I was actually being charged for each line item. When further questioning the $700+ quote I received, for what I was told was a simple job, I get this reply via e-mail from their rep Desiree: "There are also more things to take into account when considering the cost of doing a job as such. Travel time is a big part of it, and that alone is two hours of time. We would of course like to help you out, but we cannot do a job and not be able to make it worth it for us." So, this company has a York branch but somehow decided to give the job to the Ephrata branch which greatly increases the travel time and, in turn, increases the cost to us to have them do the job! Why not use the local branch that involves very little travel time??? Oh, I see, because not having a huge travel fee included doesn't make the job worth it to them. Got it! Basically, the job wasn't big enough for them so they had to find a way to price gauge us in order to make what they want to make off of a given job. No wonder they don't provide an itemized quote that includes the cost for each charge, nor do they bother to accurately answer your questions when you have a concern about the quote to begin with! This company appears to be extremely dishonest, and will add unnecessary work and travel time to your job just so they can make what they want to make. So much for quoting an honest price for honest work, as their philosophy seems to be "bend over and take it". I would have even given it to them had they said this is too small of a job for us, and here's who we recommend. Instead, they pad the bill so that it's worth it to them, while all along knowing that they're charging way more than they should be! Don't waste your time with this company, because you'll pay for it in the end, but you'll never have any clue as to what you paid for.

Dean Weiant here speaking on behalf of my wife and myself. Wanted to take a moment to share a positive experience which was the result of an unfortunate event that began in mid January when our home experienced a collapse of our basement wall. In the process of searching for who to turn to, a contractor who felt this restoration task might be a bit too much to take on, recommended Compleat Restorations as a business we would be wise to contact. Fortunately, we took the gentleman's advice. From the very onsite after speaking to the Project Manager, Steven Zywko, we knew we were in good hands. Steven took the lead to complete the numerous permit meetings and correspondences through the pre restoration process. Once the approvals were in order and the go ahead was given to begin restoration, the site team, led by Site Manager, Jeremy Rohrer simply amazed. These guys were golden. Never before have I seen such a well orchestrated effort flow. This team, was organized and worked together well. The job has been completed and folks who have visited find it difficult to believe that such a catastrophic event had taken place at our home. Just cannot say how thankful we are to have met and hired the services of this team. Thank you Compleat Restorations.

I was very pleased with how quickly they responded to my needs. The technician was very diligent and knowledgeable and completed everything quickly. Now that everything is complete I am seeing some concern with the billing side but am hopeful it can be worked out quickly. That would be the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Needed drywall repair due to water damage. I felt that the folks at Compleat Restorations truly had my best interests in mind at every step. Declan performed the work on my property and treated my home like his own. He took great care to protect my belongings during the work and left my home cleaner than he found it! The quality of the drywall and paint work were top notch! I highly recommend this company for your restoration needs!

Compleat Restorations was recommended to us in a moment of crisis (whole house flood). They showed up almost immediately to do what they do best and protect our family and our home from any long term effects of the water damage. From the moment they set foot on our property we felt confident that we were in good hands. Their team walked us through the mitigation process with plenty of detail and lots of care. They are quite good at what they do, but what's more - they brought kindness and levity to a very sad situation. Especially thankful for Tanya, Keith and Greg - but again - everyone was wonderful to work with. Greg was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the restoration details and you can tell he takes joy/pride in his company and the work that they do. As a family who works/owns a custom home building company, we know who we'll be recommending to friends and clients alike, should they ever experience a flood or fire emergency. Compleat Restorations is a top notch company that truly cares about the individuals and homes they are working with. They do an excellent job and bring peace to a season of life that is otherwise chaotic. Thank you Compleat. We appreciate you more than these words can convey!
