We recently had a custom canvas enclosure installed on our back deck so that we can still use it in the winter. We are highly impressed with Reeves Awning! Prices were very reasonable, Ed was wonderful to work with and the installation from the consult to finish was very quick!! We are very happy!
Worst company in the area. The craftsman shipment of the awnings is bad. Ours last only 2 seasons before the seams started coming apart.
They would take months to cash our checks for seasonal installation.
They would put up only half of our window awnings but charge us full price and wouldn’t make arrangements to put up the other half. I don’t know any other businesses that decide to just to half of their work, leave before communicating that to you, and then expect you to pay for all of the work which wasn’t completed.
Sad to see a locally owned company that’s been around for years run into the ground by mismanagement and apathy.

In response to the reply by the owner. My awnings are even as I write this not 10 years of age so your assumption about the age is incorrect. That makes me even more disappointed because by your own admission these should have last 10 years and instead lasted half of that. Again, poor craftsmanship.
You also never addressed or denied only putting up 1/2 of the awnings and charging full price/ not returning to complete the job.
Also thank you for confirming for the public that your accounting and finance practices are not adequate and you are understaffed in this area. I do not think it's unreasonable to have a check deposited within a month of writing it and an easy way to remediate this issue is not have the same people doing the bookkeeping that are also hanging the awnings. I can't even begin to address the issues there. What a disaster. I'd be shocked if you're still in business in 10 years.

Almost june and they STILL haven’t hung my awnings. Been a customer for almost 24 years. We keep getting they will be here this week. Not waiting much longer until I go to a magistrate to get my awnings hung. We have called and emailed. This is unacceptable.

I wanted to report that I have had an excellent experience in working with Reeves Awnings. They installed a beautiful awning for us in 2015.
They came when expected and provided a power awning to the exact specifications of our order. That was wonderful. What is even more impressive is that we had a problem with the awning in 2021, they were courteous and helpful. They travelled to our location which is more than an hour from their business and solved the issue we were having. All of this was covered under their warranty. I can not say enough good things about this family owned business.

Have had a pretty horrible experience with Reeves Awning lately. For the past few seasons, we've been increasingly disappointed with them. First, they continue to raise their rates to put the awnings up every season, and then to take them down and store them over the winter. This is proving to be not worth it for a few reasons. For one, their storage of the awnings isn't good anymore. They're wrinkled and mildew-stained, like they've been carelessly stored in moisture. More recently -- and what has spurred this review now -- is that they've become careless in putting the awnings up. They clearly didn't do it properly this last time, which led to the awning frame detaching in a wind gust and slamming into the window, shattering it.
I called Reeves Awning immediately after it happened, and they promised that an owner would come out to take care of it. Someone did indeed come out, but only to re-attach the awning. I've called multiple times since to sort out the window damage caused by their negligence, but they won't answer my phone calls and have yet to return my messages.
Their quality and business ethics have deteriorated markedly, and to the point where you'd be better off finding someone else.
