Jason was great to work with from the bidding process through project completion. The work was done in the timeframe promised and we are very happy with the results. I would recommend Rich Hard Coatings to anyone thinking about redoing a cracked or worn concrete floor.

My new basement floor is nothing short of fabulous. Jason evened out the 1957 concrete floor and put down what I call epoxy on steroids for strength and durability. Now it’s beautiful and will be so much easier to clean. My cats also love it and sprawl out all the time! The whole buying experience was made easy thanks to his thorough explanation of all the options. He was a delight to work with and I highly recommend Rock Hard Costings.

These guys did a beautiful job, and my old run down garage floor looks absolutely beautiful now. I get compliments from family members all the time about how great it looks. Jason (the owner) was the reason I finally decided to have this done. If you are considering an epoxy floor coating, you will want to use these guys for all of the following reasons: 1) Jason had EXCELLENT communication. He would actually pick up the phone when I would call, text back in a timely manner, and keep me up to date with updates and scheduling. 2) The job is NOT subcontracted out to whoever to do the work. It is literally Jason (who oversees the job and process) and his two workers who are very experienced in doing many of these epoxy floor coatings. They showed up when they said they would, on time, and got right into the staging and prepping of the floor. 3) Jason let me know exactly what products were being used and explained the entire process when I was still gathering quotes. What really sold me is that they always use a moisture vapor barrier (MVB) epoxy base coat, which is a must for these old Pittsburgh floors below grade. All of the other contractors I talked to didn't use this MVB coating by default (since it costs more) - and most weren't even familiar with using this type of coating. What is ironic is that the price I paid was in line, or even better, than a lot of the other quotes I received. Please, if you're going to have a floor coating done, put these guys at the top of your list. They did an excellent job, worked efficiently, and had great communication.

It looks fantastic! My husband was discussing it and I thought what was the big deal. I saw where day one ended to the finish product, it looked and felt great. It has a nice texture so one cannot slip and fall. Our dog went for a walk and when we returned, he happily laid on their floor to cool down. I look forward to having ours done.
