I had Callahan replanted my pool maybe 15 years ago. I had them out a couple of times since as I was losing water. He unprofessionally mocked me about not having a problem with my pool. I just had the pool replastered. They had to remove all of Callahan's plaster as they didn't use enough bonding agent under his plaster, additional 6k in expense, and they found a leak as his skimmers were not installed properly. I am not losing any water now.

Our pool was renovated by Callahan Pools for coping tile and plaster about five or six years ago. This was after the pool was about 14 years old. The first year after the renovation we began to have something seeping out of the tiles in several sections of the pool. They did come back and repair those areas. Unfortunately, every year after that the problem has gotten worse. I have called at least for advice on what to do but they were not very helpful. Every year when I open my pool it makes me sick. I don’t know why this has happened, but there had to have been an issue with the mixture used. I have been told that some companies add calcium to the mixture to speed the process and this may have been the issue. See pictures and beware of this company!!!

Hired Callahan to restore a 20 year old Sylvan pool in the summer of 2022. They did the plaster, new coping and new tile pool looks brand new. The process was easy George and Anna were great to work with. There were a couple of follow up items that needed to be taken care of and George was responsive and usually had a crew out in a day or two. This summer (2023) a piece of the granite coping was accidentally damaged. George gave me options for fixing the damage, and had a crew out in a matter of days. The fix looks great and he didn’t even charge me for the repair. Totally great customer experience.

Extremely poor communication and unreliable service. Callahan had quoted repair work for our in-ground pool/spa at our new home. Over the past two months they continually postpone and reschedule without notice. After repeatedly attempting to contact them regarding the most recent postponement, they indicated that they are no longer able to help us. My family will now be unable to safely use our new pool this summer since other repair companies in the area are now fully booked. If you are looking for a reliable business with professional employees, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
