Sara and Lance where absolutely amazing. We got our furnace serviced and running after an issue with it and us being new homeowners knowing very little about it. It was affordable and fast and we have our hot water back and I feel much more confident and relieved with this heating system now!
I will 100% be returning to them for all our system's maintainance!
Be Aware! I am not one to issue a bad review unless the intent is to protect others from a repeat experience. I initially called to request an emergency experience which the son of owner states $175 Fee but if issue is as simple as to light pilots there would be no additional fees as I assumed that was the cause. The office manager woman calls and says that no work will be performed until I receive a call with an estimate and will need to authorize the work once knowing a price, I never receive a call to authorize or decline but I receive an $800 invoice for lighting 4 pilots.... I strongly suggest seeking another provider as this was a ripoff and the company has taken no accountability that both his staff present a message but did not stand behind it.... (Horrible)

We came home from Dinner on a Sunday night to find out furness was on the fritz and decided to call a few companies and Handy Oil Burning Service was the one who called immediately and scheduled my service with ease, and I was confident I called the right company after I talked to Sarah. Lance arrived on time the following day and was very professional, talked out the underlying issues and repaired timely, and it was the best sound when the heat kicked on and no banging and smoking! Thanks to the team!

Lance is great! All of my experiences with him and his team have been excellent. Lance is extremely knowledgeable, quick to respond, and provides great service at fair prices. Would definitely recommend Handy Oil Burner Service!

Handy Oil Burner Service restored my heat and repaired several bursted heating pipes during the recent cold wave. The quality of this service was outstanding! The owner Lance Handy demonstrated excellent listening skills to clearly understand the problem. He was very responsive and was able to identify the problem area and then fixed it with ease. Based on my personal experience he is truly a skilled professional. Going forward, I will only call Handy Oil for all of my HVAC/ plumbing needs for my multi family home.
Sarah was courteous and remarkable and kept me updated on estimate arrival time of service.

Had to place an emergency service call with Handy after my tank started leaking unexpectedly following a fill up. Sarah was super helpful on the phone! Got me scheduled for the following day. Lance and team showed up on time and banged the job out. Did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with the service and will be using them for future repairs.

Sara in office is great. Techs were prompt, courteous, professional and neat. Identified the issues we had, had the parts, and resolved the problems. They stayed until the job was complete, and my Tenant's got their heat back on. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend and use again.

Sarah and Lance (and crew) are extremely responsive and helpful. Our oil tank started leaking on our basement floor and we called in desperation after our oil company no call/no showed to help. They were at our house within a couple hours - we were plugged for the night and had a brand new oil tank ordered, installed, and pipes were brought up to code in less than 36 hours. Amazing customer service and great work.

Handy oil was awesome! Our furnace died overnight and we were trying to find someone to replace it. Sara from the office was amazing as was the entire crew! They got a replacement and they were able to install it the next day which happened to be a Saturday. I am truly grateful! They came when they promised and they were very efficient. We had a new system in a few hours. I am a new loyal customer!
