When my wife and I were new to the neighborhood we were excited to have a local hardware store close by. Unfortunately after giving it several tries we had to give up returning to Adler’s. We took a long time to submit this review however felt it was important to do so. In our first visit attempted to talk with someone about windows treatments only to be ignored. The person we spoke to could have cared less to help us and only tossed a couple of catalogs our way. On two different occasions asked if the store had a particular item, was told no and never even offered any possible alternatives. The last time we went in explained we were trying to learn about a particular item, were told these are what we have and the person walked away. We have not been back since and will not return. We do not expect someone to roll out the red carpet only to be responsive and helpful

My absolute favorite hardware store! I’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Super friendly staff, dog friendly, they cut keys really fast! Plus If they don’t have what you need, they can probably order it. They are also friendly on the phone.

I've come here a lot since moving to Providence a few years ago, and while occasionally they've needed to send me somewhere else for what I needed, the service is always exceptionally helpful and friendly. And I just found out they mix the paints for all the street murals I love so much in this town, so I'm even more enthusiastic about supporting this business now. I'd come here even more if they were open just a bit later each day.

Adlers is the best hardware store ever. From the painting expertise, to the design center, to the quirky things that you can pick up in the store, it is a great place. They are an excellent resource in the community.

I drive 30 miles for the high quality, whimsical hardware in this neighborhood old-school store where the owners actually work and guide you with wisdom and experience. All my cabinets have been graced by the nearly limitless choices at Adler’s.
