TL;DR Work looks good but NRB didn’t pay for the removal and reinstall of solar panels as promised. Had to sue, recommend you check the Richland County Magistrate Court Public Index for National Restoration Brokerage, NRB, and James Thomasson before drawing your own conclusions. I was solicited by NRB in February 2022 to replacement roof. They were great in the beginning, insuring that I got approved through my insurance. We had solar panels on our home that NRB said they would pay for the removal and reinstall of. I was given the run around by NRB and James and it ended up taking almost 7 months to get my roof replaced. Then we got stuck with the over $5000 removal and reinstall bill for the solar panels. James is extremely difficult to get in contact with, often times not responding to calls or texts at all. NRB was paid for their services and the work looks good however 1.5 years after entering into a contract with them, we still have not been reimbursed for the solar panels as promised. This ordeal got to the point where we had to sue and neither James nor a representative of NRB showed up to court. I urge you to check the public index for the Richland County Magistrate Court before entering into a contract with NRB. Make sure you look up National Restoration Brokerage, NRB, and James Thomasson and make your own conclusion from there. You will see that we aren’t the only ones that have had this type of run in with NRB.

If I could give them less 1 star I would. I had them replace a roof and vinyl siding on a rental property. They left the old siding on the side of the house. They were also supposed to replace a broken window but they never did and they have been ignoring both myself and the insurance after they have been paid in full. This has been ongoing for over a year now. I believe they're a family owned company. James and Victoria are the ones I was in contact with. Both habitual liars and they'll tell you whatever they can to get you off the phone. I'm not even sure they're still in business as they've ignored all emails and calls from myself and my insurance. Definitely not recommended.

As a new home owner - James with National Restoration Brokerage assisted me in getting my complete roof replacement covered through my insurance. James was extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. He help me file my claim with my insurance company from start to finish. Documented everything along the way. Even took the time to come out and make sure the crew completed my new roof replacement within a timely fashion. His crew was super kind and respectful as well. My roof looks so good now. I’m so happy. Thank you James for all your help.
