Updated Review: A little over a year later and the driveway has cracked. Not a huge deal. I call Concrete Charleston 7/1 to get a repair estimate. I then follow up with a text. No response. I submit the web form on 7/2, no response. I give another call on 7/3, leave a VM, no response. I call one final time on 7/8 and get an answer this time. I explain the situation, that I am looking for an estimate for 2 slabs to be replaced, and that I am looking to hire Concrete Charleston since they poured the driveway originally. This way, we're using the same aggregate, etc. The response that I am given is that Concrete Charleston has so many commercial jobs that they do not have time for this sort of work. The guy I spoke to said that he'd get my information over to their "lead guy", and whether or not that is something they can take on. Never heard back. I understand business being so great that a company may choose to longer take on NEW residential projects. But, not taking care of your previous customers seems like bad business practice. I'll leave my original review for transparency. But a business that does not stand by their product and support their customers for at least as long as the live span of the product is not a business I can recommend to others. Original Review: My fiancé and I had an excellent experience with Charleston Concrete. We had our existing 20+ year old driveway removed and a new one poured. The owner Chris is great to work with, from start to finish. He had an estimate drawn up for me shortly after my first contact with him, made adjustments to the estimate until we decided exactly how we wanted the driveway done, then executed the project precisely. Chris also made recommendations. Some of the recommendations we accepted, others we did not. Zero pressure from Chris, just making sure we knew all of our options. Chris was on site day 1 to ensure we were on the same page about the project, onsite several times during the project to ensure everything was going to plan, and onsite again to do a final inspection of the project and ensure we were satisfied. If I had questions, he answered them respectfully. He is also great at communicating throughout the project to ensure we remain on the same page. Zero surprises . 5-star company.

The entire process was frictionless and the team on-site were fun, professional and some of the hardest workers I have met. Such a good group of people. Concrete Charleston was great! Got a quote from them came knocked out the work and I’m so happy with the results. Demoed the side yard to add more driveway to the existing one. The team that came for the labor was super polite and respectful of the house too! They even relocated some of the dirt dug up to the low spots in the backyard for me. I had shopped around for other quotes, and concrete chs came up with a fair price but the quality is well worth it! 10/10 recommend!

They demolished our old patio, added a new one, added a sidewalk, and expanded our driveway. The only delay was due to bad weather. Chris, Eric and their team did an outstanding job on our large backyard patio project which included a driveway extension, side walk, fire pit area, outdoor dining area and hot tub pad. They were always on time and dependable in every meeting. Once the project started, Eric (foreman) and his team were on time, worked hard the whole time they were here and were detail oriented. We also had some unlevel areas in our back yard and Santiago did an incredible job leveling everything in no time with the skid steer. Top quality and professional operation at Concrete Charleston! Our HOA engaged the services of Concrete Charleston to convert our existing lake path from eroding plantation mix to concrete. The path is nearly one mile long with extremely limited access, making the project logistically arduous. We selected a weathered rock finish to maintain a natural appearance. The owner, Chris, addressed our concerns of rock salt's potential negative impact to our lake, its inhabitants, & the environment by using "skins." Achieving proper slopes & paying attention to widespread drainage issues were critical for a successful outcome. As president of the HOA, I worked closely with Chris & his staff on a daily basis throughout the duration of the project. It was such a pleasure to work with them - professional, courteous, skilled, neat, & timely. Chris takes pride in his work and is truly a man of integrity. We are very impressed with the service level & ecstatic with the end product, as you can see from the images! We honestly believe that entrusting this challenging project to anyone else would have been a mistake. We highly recommend Chris & Concrete Charleston for any concrete project!!

There are not enough words I can say to describe the experience we had with Concrete Charleston! All of the employees were very professional, on time and kept a clean working environment. Their wonderful employees had great patience as many kids jumped, played and asked questions about what they were doing, they even let them help!
