I highly recommend you look elsewhere for service. I don't normally post on bad experiences, but this one is warranted. BEWARE! ESC tried to tell me I needed a new $1800 circuit board, which would take four months to source. Plus, assess for additional damage afterward. I received a second opinion, and it turned out that it was nothing more than regular maintenance and cleaning of electrical connections. They also pointed to all the other areas ESC skipped during our regular annual paid maintenance in February 2024. The owner/president is a complete jag.

The owner has grown to be disrespectful and vile in his interactions over the past several years. He is very unprofessional and doesn't demonstrate leadership expected in an owner of a company. We have taken our business elsewhere. I would not recommend ESC Elevator.

I have used ESC Elevator for many years and have been very pleased with this small family owned business. While they many not be able to respond to emergencies due to staffing, they have taken great care of providing annual maintenance and service so far.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I was appalled at their response to an emergency call that we paid $450 for at a rental home. The tech showed up, pulled everything out, and said that someone cut all of our electrical to the elevator. It ended up being a tripped breaker. I then called them to discuss it and Charlie was very nice and said that he had let that tech go that morning. He then wrote me an extremely rude email telling me that he would not make it right. I was shocked because who does that?!? I have worked with several elevator companies in the area and this is by far the worst experience I have had with any of them.

The ESC technician pulled his truck into our private off-street parking area and blocked my vehicle's access in or out of my parking space. I asked him to move his vehicle over and he was extremely rude to me. I asked him which owner he was here to service, his response was "none of your business". Personally, I wouldn't want someone like this to do any kind of service for me, whether it be elevator service or anything else. Given his inability to properly park his truck as to not inconvenience private property owners, his poor attitude and the many negative reviews, I didn't get the impression that ESC Elevator was a reputable company. BIG TRUCK - little man.

Incompetent at best with no regard for loyal customers. Our elevator has been down for nearly two months. First technician came out twice and was unable to diagnose the issue. The second, more experienced technician was a no-show. Now they want to put us on the schedule 3 more weeks from today. This place is an absolute joke.

$450 to just come look at an elevator 2 days before Christmas. Had to pay in advance. Whole back and forth about forcing us to come into the office to sign the receipt. Very weird. I would stay away from this company completely. P.s. they still haven’t fixed the elevator 16 days later. Edit: they saw this review and came back to “fix” the elevator. Made us pay another $530 in advance just to sit around for an hour and tell us he didn’t know how to. This company deserves a lawsuit. Avoid at all cost.

DO NOT USE this company. Owner recommended I don't replace my elevator. They sold me expensive parts that the owner assured me would extend the life of the elevator. It didn't work and kept breaking down. They charged me to come look at it, and it would break down within days again. The owner was a great salesperson and then was completely dismissive and unresponsive to address the issues. These guys will eventually disappoint you and become super rude and arrogant once you're dissatisfied.

Our home elevator (installed by Coastal Elevator) had never worked properly. Coastal charged us thousands in repairs to fix the issues they caused. Coastal lied about replacing parts & sending them to the manufacturer for repairs. When I contacted Manufacturer after being suspicious, they claimed only 1 part was sent to them ( not 4) & it was covered under warranty, yet Coastal charged me & said it was was not under warranty... Then I found ESC elevator! I LOVE ESC ELEVATOR! They fixed the elevator & it's been working great. I wish they would install residential elevators since they are obviously one of the best. ESC elevator freed me from the hell Coastal Elevator created. Do the right thing, use ESC elevator & do not get ripped off by coastal.
