First and foremost, my installation technician was awesome. I can’t remember his name, but he was very personable and did a very clean job. Five stars for him. All right now for the one star. Dustin was my sales representative. He came to my door shortly after I moved into my new home and gave me his sale pitch. He said that he offers a buyout program and that he would pay off what I owe Vivint if I signed with him that day for ADT, so I did. About a month goes on and Vivint still wasn’t paid off And I thought OK maybe it was just processing time. Two months goes by and I reach out to Dustin and he tells me that he’s sorry it was a clerical error in the office that handles the buyout and he would send me a refund check while they get it squared away. Another month goes on Nothing happened. I reached back out to him. He said he would send me another refund check. Mind you I never got the first one. Then another month goes on and I reach out to him Get no response back. I work for the government so I went away for work out of the country for a couple months. Came back and still nothing was resolved no refund check nothing. I finally reach out to him again, and he claimed that he was away on family business and would get back to me and never did. So I said screw it. I called ADT to Cancel my membership. Then I get a call from Carolina Smart home saying that they will make it right. Dustin finally calls me back at this point and says that he will continue to send me A check every month for what I owe Vivint until it’s paid off And also a year free service from ADT for the hassle he has caused me. I said OK fine let’s do that. Yep, you guessed it. Nothing happened again. So I finally reached back out and spoke to a gentleman named Byron. I sent him over all the numbers for what I’ve been paying Vivint And let him know what Dustin told me. He said all right give me some time so I can figure out what we’re gonna do and I’ll get back to you. It has now been a week and a half. Maybe I was just the needle in the haystack, but I have not enjoyed the experience with this company.

Sean Sammons was my ADT installer and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and professional, and took the time to walk me through the system and help me set up my apps. My sales rep was Myles Phillips and he was fantastic as well, ensuring that I felt comfortable with the sign up and processing of my order. I would highly recommend ADT and this duo of team members!

Sean was an amazing technician to work with. He was quick on installing all of our equipment and thorough with his explanation on how everything worked. I’d highly recommend asking for him if you ever need help with any of your equipment.

Ricky was a great tech!! He showed up early and was able to get all of our cameras set up with efficiency! He explained the set up with ease and made this new technology process easy for us! We definitely feel safer now and recommend ADT and Ricky to everyone !
