Checked in 1:00 pm for 2:00 pm appointment. I waited for five hours. The second shift shipper came and told me about the cancellation of the load. I was asked to leave the facility. He walked away without giving any reasons. I will never recommend booking a load at this location. It was a nightmare experience for me. Spent five hours and wasted my driving times. Stay away from this place. I did not catch the shipper’s name. He lacked in communication and showed no respect, and plus rudeness. I would say No No No to this place for drivers.
Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct and Unacceptable Delays
Dear HR Manager/Management Team,
I am writing to formally complain about the unprofessional conduct and unacceptable delays I experienced at your Florence, SC location on June 6th, 2024.
I arrived at 9:00 AM to pick up a load for Joliet, IL, scheduled for an appointment at 10:00 AM. Despite being the second in line and instructed by the day shift worker to wait for my turn, I was forced to wait for over 10 hours. During this time, two trucks arrived and queued behind me, yet no action was taken to load my truck.
After an exhausting wait, I was finally assigned door dock 13. However, after another hour with no progress, the night shift worker, BRIAN, approached me with a rude attitude and demanded I vacate the dock for the truck behind me. It was clear to me that the other driver had bribed him with $20. When I questioned this and asked to report it, Brian dismissively told me there weren't enough loads for everyone and to return the next day at 7:00 AM.
When I returned the following day at 7:00 AM and requested to speak with a supervisor, I was informed that no one was available. My truck was not loaded until 12:30 PM on Saturday, causing significant delays and impacting my schedule.
This experience was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly urge management to address these issues to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Prompt and fair service, along with professional conduct from your staff, is crucial.
I look forward to your response and the steps you will take to rectify this situation.

their main principle is that it is better not to work than to work. You can stand all day waiting for it to load.

I stayed 12 hours to pickup. All 4 trucks after me they got canceled load.VERY LAZY PEOPLE SPECIALLY THAT BRIAN. THEY STAY ON THEIR PHONE INSTEAD OF WORKING

Worst place to come get unloaded before 430pm. Sit for hours in dock with only 5 pallets to take off. Second shift will get you in and out. I will give second shift 5 stars!!!

I should admit I thought to cancel this load after reading the reviews here but ultimately I decided to take a chance. I arrived at 09:10 for a 10:00 appointment and backed into a door immediately. There were 5 trucks strapping and throwing tarps when I arrived. For what it’s worth, I told the loader there reviews online are terrifying lol. He explained, they had warehousing issues for a couple of months and wait times were terrible for drivers getting loaded, they have a second warehouse now to accommodate their volume. I was loaded in an 1.5 hours, all odd shaped parts and it took another hour to secure.

My appointment was for 1 pm. Came in at 12.30 pm to be on the safe side. It’s 7 hours now and I’m still waiting. The other drivers told me it’s always like this here. Best Elevator company in the world but worst plant for drivers. Will never come here again.

Seen all the 1stars reviews. 2 other trucks were at the docks already. Waiting about 3mins to get someone's attention. They check me in and I bump the dock and they literally started right on me. 1800 appt. Arrive 1745, hit the gate out at 1815..A+++ Otis

Sometimes I don't believe other reviews but this time im incredulous on how slow, mismatched they load. Got there at 1pm appointment was at 2pm , I could of been there earlier but I called snd was told to adhere to the appointment time. Got in bay at 3:00pm and didn't finished loading till 8pm. Other trucks were there before I got there and by the time I finish tarping, they were still there. It true they just throw pile everything. Solid heavy pcs on side and boxes the others or either you tightened and crushed the boxes or it will be loose.
