We needed our large corner lot fenced and it had to be wood per our subdivision rule. Enter - American Fence. Working with Matthew was so easy. He was professional from our very first phone conversation setting a date to come measure the job. We received quotes from several companies in the upstate and his was the best for both time promised and material quality. He answered all the questions we had as first time home buyers undertaking our first project. Our 6' wood privacy fence is better than we could've planned. Neighbors were giving him compliments while he was in the middle of the project. We look forward to many years of peace in our backyard with our (now very happy) dog.
Overall a great experience working with Matthew. The fence looks beautiful, he was responsive and very easy to work with. He also had dirt and gravel delivered to level out an area for us to put up a shed in the future. High quality work and his price was much better than other quotes we received!

American fence company did an excellent job with our chain link project. We have a slopped yard, hard ground, and needed multiple points of entry, and none of that was an issue at all. Matthew is an extremely hard worker, and even worked very late after we experienced some delays related to utilities locating. From the quote, to purchasing, to installation, we were in the loop the whole time. We never had to wonder what was going on because we were informed at every step. We were on a very aggressive time line and Matthew promised to meet that timeline and kept his promise, without sacrificing quality. We got a very well built fence in the time we needed it. We were very happy to find American Fence Company and would certainly use them again in the future, and recommend them to anyone in need of a fence.

We had our vinyl fence installed by American Fence Company and we could not be happier. We were told by a Lowe’s contractor that it could not be done on a steep grade like ours has and they tried to talk us into another product.
We called American Fence and within an hour we had a quote and Matthew Masse came by the house later that evening to Mark the yard. Our fence was installed before the big box would even commit to get started.
Matthew is the consummate professional. He brought the fencing out and got started almost right away. Each day hew would clean up any mess he made in our yard (and our adjoining neighbors yards as well). His technique made it appear as if no one was working at all. The only evidence he left was the fence. He even cleaned up his dirt! Very rarely do you find that kind of work ethic these days.
If I had another fence to be installed I wouldn’t hesitate one second to call Matthew back. As a matter of fact one of my neighbors has already asked him for a quote and then came by my house to tell me about it.
Count me as a completely satisfied customer. Was it more expensive than the big box quoted? A little, but I can tell you it was worth it every penny of it.

Matthew built our fence on short notice, within 3 weeks after we first talked, when no other fence company we spoke to could come out in less than 2 months. He is personable and was easy to work with, willing to meet each of our requests. He went out of his way to make sure he completed the project as quickly as we needed, even driving 2 hours to pick up materials when he was told delivery would be delayed. The work is well done and I have no complaints. I will highly recommend him to my friends.
