hi, am a diehard caterpillar guy just moved here two years ago in the service at Blanchard machinery, and all the parts guys are the best. These guys have gone above and beyond for me and I truly appreciate everything they do a big difference between here and my New York dealership in New York I felt like the little guy that nobody cares about with Blanchard. It’s not like that they treat you like you like they treat the big guys amazing experience I wouldn’t go anywhere else thank you Chris and the staff upfront. You have been amazing.

Terrible. I paid top dollar to have them work on my catepiller engines in my boat because I had smoke on the port side. They talked me into the 1,000 service because my engines had 975 hours. Had them do the 1,000 hour service for $7,500. After the work was performed I asked the mechanic if it was still smoking and he said “no”. I was so relieved. The following week I went to the boat and it was smoking as bad as it was before they did any work. The mechanic came out and I showed him the smoke and I said “how did you not see that?!” Then I said “are you the same mechanic that spilled something in the center of my carpet and stain it and broke my mahogany counter?” He said “No. I didn’t do that.” Little did he know that another contractor working on my boat took a picture of him sopping up his spill and sent it to me. After seeing that it was still smoking the mechanic said “it must be your injectors. You should replace them.” Part of their job also included inspecting the turbos. The mechanic told me the turbos were fine. After seeing the smoke and the damage they cause to my boat, I lost all confidence in them so I called another mechanic. The other mechanic came out and replaced my injectors and said to be “did you know your turbo has too much play and is leaking fluid? You need to replace it ASAP!” Lol. He even sent me pictures. This was right after the Blanchard mechanic said it was fine. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this company!

My CAT C7 engine started pumping oil from top of the head. I stopped at a shop 50 miles north of this Blanchard shop. After waiting 3 hours that shop couldn't diagnose and suggested I drive to Blanchard in Hardeeville, SC. The Blanchard service manager and the expert tech determined the origin of the unusual location of the leak and had me on my way in less than 1 hour. They were most professional, friendly, and trust worthy. The cost was more than fair. Can't thank them enough.

We dropped a cylinder off to be resealed. We need a very quick turn around. The service manager (Lonnie) and tech (RJ) stayed late to finish the piston and get it back to us. Great service! Thanks
