My elevator was hit by a power surge Christmas day. Totally blew out the circuit board. Coastal was very helpful in the repair..a new circuit board had to be custom made. The office staff was very helpful in dealing with the insurance. Johnathan even offered to come on a Saturday (at no extra charge) to facilitate installing the new parts. Elevator is running great...Johnathan is great...office staff is great! Coastal Elevator is a life saver!

Last July I paid Coastal Elevator for 2 emergency trips $650 total. They said they fixed the elevator after the first trip and then a friend got stuck between floors on the 1st use 30 minutes after they left. After the second emergency trip they said do not use and they would change the oil and try to fix in 3 weeks for $1600 no guarantees. I called Carolina Elevator Service and they repaired within the week for half the cost and the oil did not need changing. It has working perfectly since. Rude manager, owner would not return my calls and techs are inadequate. Be careful giving them a credit card..they charged mine for the second call without approval and refused to refund.

I was recommended this company by a friend of ours and best decision ever!! The repair technician Jonathan was fantastic, and was able to get us up and running with quickness . I highly recommend this company!!

Had a great experience with this company! Rented a home out in Kiawah Island for a family vacation. Met with one of their repair techs (Johnathan) who was extremely friendly, professional and quick with the assistance we needed. He was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of! Would definitely recommend these guys! Please acknowledge this guy because he was the definition of great customer service.

Really the only company currently to service Inclinator brand. Both office staff and techs were very pleasant. The service call and labor were relatively expensive.

Had an emercency ...elevator stuck between floors with lots of food, milk, etc on it (they were supposed to be maintaining it) I called around 12 noon on a Tuesday and they said they could not come until tomorrow ...then they told me I did not have a maitenance agreement...sent them a text of my cashed check! The woman who claimed she was a manager was so rude! NEVER use these people!this is my second bad experience with them ..they have horrible customer service...they don't care..I called Home Elevators direct ,explained the situation and they were here in a hour ...thats why they have 5 Stars!!! I am going to get a maintenance agreement with them...STAY AWAY FROM COASTAL..BE WARNED!!!

Coastal Elevators installed a 3 stop elevator in a new house we built and the elevator worked fine except we didn't notice that the floor position indicator on the call station was incorrect on one floor due to the controller not being configured correctly during installation. Coastal Elevator insisted that since we didn't notify them about the installation error during the warranty period that they would not correct the mistake without a charge. Why should they profit from a mistake they made during installation?

I purchased a home that had an with an elevator because I needed one for a disabled family member that lives with me. The home is only four years old and it turns out that Coastal had been the original installer. The movers I used loaded it up with heavy boxes (even thouugh I informed them of weight limit) and broke the elevator. I got stuck on the elevator between floors and had to crawl out. I called Coastal late in the afternoon and told them I had a disabled family remember who lived with me and needed the elevator. They came first thing the next morning and repaired the elevator. They were very professional!

The technician was fantastic. However on each of the 4 separate phone calls my husband and I have had with the office staff the customer service has been less than desirable. She is not only curt, but downright rude and not accommodating at all considering we were in an unforeseen time crunch. After spending 1k, we will be using a different company next time and I advise you to do so also.
