Our technician was Cory. Was quick and efficient. More over, a wealth of advice to avoid future issues and expenses. Recommended maintenance options and discussed system upgrades but without trying to upsell or encourage unneeded work. Have had technicians from several different companies come out for servicing and repair work, but I’d absolutely recommend A/C Advice.

I am only giving 1 star because that's what you have to give in order to write a review. This company is UNPROFESSIONAL! I dealt with the technician Corey who is apparently the (owner/operator) on both encounters with this company and the experiences was very unpleasant! I started off by reaching out to this company in 01/2024 to do a regular maintenance to my HVAC unit, also inquiring if they had an HVAC warranty program. They completed the maintenance in which they found nothing wrong with the HVAC unit, and offered me a warranty program that they had yet to develop. Nothing about the program had been finalized in writing for a customer to view, or purchase so I passed on that offer. In 6/2024 my cool air upstairs of my home wasn't working properly so my home warranty sent the same unprofessional company to my home for the repair. Corey was the technician again and informed me that there was a freon leak and that he would need to conduct a leak test to find the leak. He also informed me that my warranty company denied the claim to cover the leak test. Since I am a landlord, I authorized and paid him out of pocket for him to conduct the leak test anyway so I can move along with attempting to get my tenants adequate air upstairs. I told him once he is done to contact me directly with a quote, and I will notify his office if I would like to move forward with the repair. Corey notified me that I had a leak in my evaporator coil in my attic and the repair would be $4400. Unless I purchase their warranty program service which is still not defined in writing what it entails/offers I would be eligible for a discount on the bill. Mind you I have never had any issues with my HVAC unit and it is only 6 years old. I told him since the repair is so pricey I wanted to weigh all of my options out, and again I would be in touch if I would like to move forward with his company doing the repair. After that phone conversation when Corey was suppose to be done with my appointment. He than decided to entered the attic of my property via my tenants and deactivate cooling components in the attic to deactivate the power on the upstairs thermostat completely. He also, told my tenants that I was able to conduct the repair today but, I didn't because I was too cheap. That was completely unprofessional! Corey never notified me that he deactivated the power to anything, but I would've him not to do that because I was still able to add freon to the unit as a temporary fix until I was able to complete the repair. I only authorized and paid Corey to do a diagnostic and conduct a leak test. When I reached out to the office to speak to management about Corey's actions. He actually answered the office phone, and once I asked for clarity on why he deactivated power to anything without notifying me. He became irate and disconnected the call. Please do not spend your money with is price gauging unprofessional company. Please read this review to save your money and a headache!
