Talked to the rep. Gauged a response as a new equipment proprietor. Told a week in advance that I will be interested to look over inventory. Called at 2150 (life is short) to setup an appointment with the rep that called me. Got told that golf is more important. OK. Not the company for me. Terrible PR ad. Sincerely, unsatisfied. Good luck CW. Update: was harassed by said CW rep after this review was seen. Good luck everyone.

BEWARE! Their employees will hook up their equipment to your vehicle(they should not!), they will NOT tell you your ball hitch is too small, the manager, Bobby, will then deny that their employee hooked up the rental. Bobby will also deny you a refund. They have ONE employee who deserves the star I have to give to this company in order to write this review who was a saint and pushed for us to receive a refund. Thank you! We certainly "learned a lesson" from this and that is to NEVER rent from this company again

I recently had the unpleasant experience of renting a dump trailer from Bennett Equipment. This company rented me a dump trailer with a broken door that would not stay open, which led to another failure on the job site. A call with David led to him telling me the second failure was my fault, and that I should have let him know about the first issue when I picked it up, though he rented it broken in the first place. I have rented large heavy equipment in multiple states from the larger providers such as Herc, United, and Sunbelt; never have I been treated the way I was by Bennett’s service manager. These larger rental chains have accountability channels and standards for these kinds of things(customer/management disputes), and their handling of them…..these mom and pop places rarely do. Bennett has lost a good customer for life, and I’m not a homeowner. This company knows nothing of customer service, nor cares about renting functioning equipment. If I ran my business this way, I would be belly up within a year. I had to end my rental period before it was over due to the failure with no refund.

We have rented heavy equipment many times from Bennett. The first couple times were great. Fair pricing and super helpful staff. With our most recent rental we are so disappointed with the equipment, employee, and the inflated price. We will definitely not be returning to Bennett for rentals again.

Has great equipment for any need. All equipment is checked over carefully before you leave or they bring it out to the job site, preventing down on your project. Great staff that doesn’t mind questions. A great company to work with
