I sincerely regret ever having chosen K&L in Ridgeland, SC to install some granite and onyx countertops in my home. They have a serious lack of integrity in their business. They lied about what they would deliver as a final product. They used about 1/3 of a full 42 square foot slab of red onyx granite and less of the same size slab to of black absolute granite and they never returned the unused portions. When I inquired about the unused pieces, they said they had plenty of room on their lot and would hold my stone until I wanted to use it. When I asked them to return it, they said they couldn't find it, "maybe it got broken "; so basically they stole some very expensive stone.
Recently bought a house and needed new countertops and backsplash. Was referred to Fred by a good friend. He worked with me from start to finish and gave great recommendations on style, design, layout exc. Not knowing much about how these things work, I felt very confident in his field of expertise. The install was seamless and their team was very professional and answered all of my annoying questions with much patience. The turn around time was accurate, as well. Would definitely recommend for a new build or renovation.

The owner Lino is terrible business owner. I gave him a $20k+ job to work on with measurements and specifications and his cutting for the granite was 5 inches larger than the specifications yet he refused to fix it. Many many call unanswered and two years later the problem still there countertops being 5 inches wider than my specifications. Very rude and unprofessional business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!

Lino and Fred did our kitchen and a new bar area. The product is beautiful and the craftsmanship is outstanding. They make their cabinets on-site and have the ability to do any style/size you can imagine. We used granite and quartz and they had many pieces from which to pick. The sink was not the heavy gauge(scratched) we were told, so it is too thin and we will replace with a heavier gauge, but it looks great. One of the things that makes them stand out, is the service after the install. We tried to cover a small scratch and ended up making it worse and Fred came back and fixed what we did, without charge! They are a small operation and communication can be slow, but the end result was wonderful! Before and after below along with repair.

Never called me back, never gave me an estimate. Did not want me to get the granite I wanted. Just what he had in stock. Wasted my time meeting him at his shop on a Saturday. Very disappointing.

We are new to the area and did not know about KNL granite and marble LLC. We got our kitchen cabinets and countertops through Home Depot. I happen to be riding by one day and saw KNL sign. We needed countertops for our bathrooms so I stopped in to see if they could do them for me the owner said go back to wherever you did the rest of your cabinets and countertops. You gave them the big job don’t come to me with your small job. So he will not get any jobs at all from me or my children they are also building new houses and we would have considered KNL for cabinets and countertops but now we will go elsewhere. I wanted to give them 0 stars but to post I had to put one.I also let the owner know that he was very rude.

My wife and I had Lino Pera and his family install our quartz and granite countertops in our new home. The job was completed today and it is simply OUTSTANDING. The workmanship is incredible and they had the best price of all the granite/ quartz dealers we contacted for estimates. I highly recommend this family owned business.

K & L Granite gives great service and its a place I would recommend to anyone. They are great people and all work together to get the job done. They never disappoint and are all ears to questions and concerns.

Customer beware! Mr. Pera came and gave me a price for marble counters and a separate price to install a backsplash. I called him back a few days later and told him that I had decided just to have him do the counters and not the backsplash and explained why. He then told me that he would call his distributor and let me know when he would have the slabs of marble for me to look at. After days of unanswered phone messages that I left, I drove the 30 miles to his shop. He was there and told me that he had decided that he didn't want to make the counters because I had decided not to have him install the backsplash. When I asked him why he hadn't returned and of my calls to let me know this, he just shrugged his shoulders. I now have a contractor coming next week to remodel the kitchen and no one to make the counters. Mr Pera lied to me twice...once when he told me he would order the slabs of marble and a second time when he did answer my call one afternoon and told me he was with a customer and would call me back in 15-20 minutes which he didn't do.
