A friend recommended them to me, very happy with their maintenance service, but where they really stood out was when our AC stopped working completely overnight on a Saturday morning. Mike called me within two minutes of the after hours service en route to another job to tell us when to expect him. Once here he explained everything that he looked at, checked with me before accruing charges and the unit was running again in no time. Whole household was very happy!

Our A/C unit was damaged during the recent storm. Carolina Refrigeration was already our maintenance company; they gave us the best maintenance rate, come out 2x a yr and even have a military discount. They came out after the storm, provided us the best quote around which included a 10 yr labor warranty. They are knowledgeable and explained the entire process from start to finish; we found out our system was completely mismatched. I was referred to to Carolina Refrigeration approximately 6 years ago. I had just purchased my home in Waxhaw. We have a high end Air Conditioning Unit. The A/C kept going out and the people that we purchased our home from left the company they used to use information. So we naturally used this company. This company was out about 5 to 6 times and would get the Unit up and running and then it would go out again. The Tech would say that he was not familiar with this brand and make excuses. I then contacted another company in Waxhaw , who advised that I should contact Trevor ( Owner of Carolina Refrigeration) , He was highly respected by the Owner Operator in Waxhaw. He said if anyone can fix this it would be Trevor. Trevor then came out to my home and had our unit up and running within 2 visits. He had to fix all the mistakes the previous company had done on the Unit. Since then we have signed up for the Maintenance Plan. Our A/C has been running great. Thanks Trevor! Lastly, Katie in the Office is always very pleasant to deal with and makes it easy to get scheduled. I highly recommend Carolina Refrigeration!

Awesome company run by great folks. We installed a new HVAC and Heat Pump in our house last October 2023 and love it. We had some challenges with our poorly designed original furnace and heat pump. We decided to completely renovate it, and it had its challenges since we had to redesign how the airflow worked in the house and choose the right equipment, layout etc. Being the homeowner that I am, I had a ton of questions and technical stuff to work through and Trevor was there with us every step of the way. He answered all of my questions and more. I really can’t say enough good things about these folks. Airflow completely changed in my house and is now much more even and consistent. The unit doesn’t have to work nearly as hard to keep everything at a constant temperature. We also signed on for the twice a year service and we had one call since OCT 2023 and it was a great experience as well. Good installers, good tech’s.

Great service then & today for my very old unit installed before I knew about them. Technician Prince arrived on time, was caring, informative, & thorough; explained everything & resolved my HVAC issues. Highly recommend them for heating & air services. They drive thirty minutes one-way to my location but treat me like family.
