For the best value for your home, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I saw a honest review from Janet, and my husband and I share similar thoughts and experiences with her. However, rather than it being a ceiling, as in her case, it is our upstairs flooring that we initially thought was installed correctly, only to have it all buckle. The entire upstairs flooring, including 4 bedrooms and the hallway is visibly bowed, and it’s been down just 2-3 months, at the most. One bedroom door won’t even shut because of this! We recently had family visit and stay with us, and each and every person who walked on it shared a look of uncertainty (and, sadness for us!) for how messed up it is. This was good quality LVP from a local flooring store that was simply installed incorrectly. In all reality, this is ONE OF MANY installation errors that we are left with. Unfortunately, $95,000+ later (that we have already paid Jovan), and multiple issues that he and his crew were just planning to leave “as is,” had we not spoken up, and many that are still in need of repair. Beware folks! At quick glance, what might initially look ok, will only be a matter of time before the installation errors reveal themselves (tile cracked during shower door install in 2 of the tiled showers, rusty screws for a poolside hut done less than 2 years ago by Jovan because outdoor screws were not used, bowed floors, doors that won’t close, and on and on and on!). This was one of the texts sent to Jovan, and read, mind you, and no response.

I am disappointed in the job Jovaan did for me. I initially thought he had done a decent job but now after a few weeks i see it looks worse now than before he ‘fixed’ it. The ceiling nail pops are awful!! I would not recommend this company and specifically Jovaan to do any work for you. I hate writing bad reviews but to be honest and to help others sometimes you have to. I am going to add some photos here but i doubt that I can tag them.these pictures are from after the repair. This guy should be ashamed of getting paid for this.

There was some drywall separation and a water leak on my ceiling in my sunroom that they fixed like new and repainted. He also checked the roof for leaks. The painter was on time, professional in his work and helped put things back in place. Would highly recommend this company.

In May of this year I encountered a shower leak to our master bath that had been leaking for 5+ years. We have only owned the home for 2 yrs, so the previous owner had hid the issue by replacing a piece of drywall and paint. I had contacted 3 different contractors and after meeting Jovann with JL Paining and Drywall, I decided to go with him. His company had great reviews and he told me the job would be completed in 2 weeks!!! I was thinking no way, because my house looked like a FEMA DISASTER area! But I kid you not, he did the job in 2 weeks!! The bathroom was already completely gutted but I had extensive damage inside the flooring and down the structure under the shower that went downstairs. My bathroom was completely transformed to the design I had in my head. He did exactly what I wanted and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! His tile guy Jerry was phenomenal and did an outstanding job! If you are in need of a contractor, I highly recommend this company. There was not one time he did not get back to me, no run around like you get with some contractors. Absolutely gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars! Thank you so much for absolute outstanding job to you and your team!

JL installed sheetrock over plastic ceiling, skimmed also walls, painted, fixed window sills with wood and put in recessed lighting. Good solid job. Timely. Fair pricing. Friendly professional crew that came as scheduled and cleaned up well. Flexible if changes are wanted; some details needed to be defined clearly. Overall, looks great! Definitely can recommend Jovann and his crew. Would use them again any time.

We hired Jovan and his “JL Painting and Drywall” crew to remove our old and yellowing popcorn ceiling. He was quick to respond to my request for an estimate and gave me a detailed quote for services. They started when they said they would, worked hard and finished a few days early which was wonderful. The work was superb - the popcorn was removed, the ceilings got a skim coat and the paint job was is perfect. When we returned, the house was cleaned and looked so much better - I love my house now. Thank you Jovann! I would recommend this company to anyone and will call them anytime I need painting, drywall or remodeling work done.
