Steve is very easy to work with. He was able to fit my inspection in with very little advance notice. He arrived on time and got straight to work. Since I’d already gone completely through the home myself, I thought I’d already identified all the issues. Steve earned his pay and found things I never would have. The best part was that he allowed me to be his shadow, follow him as he worked, and ask all the questions I wanted. I can’t say enough good things about him – extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and so easy to work with. I will definitely use his services again.
Radon levels in my home were too high, and Stephen was the only mitigation service provider I found who was certified through both the National Radon Proficiency Program and the National Radon Safety Board.
Stephen is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and friendly, and even though he is located nearly 100 miles from my home in Sioux Falls, he was always very prompt. He installed the mitigation equipment quickly in 1 day and took the time to explain what he did and what we needed to know to monitor the equipment. He was always very responsive and answered all of our questions.
The work was clean and professional, and our radon levels dropped from over 4 pCi/L to 1.4 the next day. It was down to less than 1 the day after that. I'm so grateful that he was able to address our home's problem with such care and efficiency.

We've never needed a house inspection before, and were in the market for a house. We knew there were issues with the house we were looking at purchasing, and had no idea how much was really wrong until Steve did his whole house inspection. He was professional and on time, took his time to review everything that he had found and confirmed what we had seen plus more, Very personal and easy to talk to. If you are looking at a house, I would strongly recommend this business to anyone. The peace of mind of knowing is better than taking any chances on purchasing and then finding out that there were issues after the fact. I can't say enough good things about this business. Its a must when purchasing! We've even had him look into another property for us, just to be sure. Reasonable priced and you will know what you are looking at when you are done. We engaged Steve with Total Home Inspection to perform a pre-purcahse home inspection and radon test. Steve was personable and very easy to work with. He went above and beyond to accommodate everyone involved in the transaction, and we found his work to be very thorough. We would certainly use Steve's services again and would highly recommend him to others.

We had Steve do a pre-purchase home inspection, along with a radon test. Steve was thorough in his inspection and report, and was great at answering my questions during the inspection. We trusted his expertise and wouldn't hesitate to work with Steve again!

If you want a very detailed inspection, you should call Steve. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM, you won't regret it. He did an inspection to the house that we are buying and he found so many things that we didn't see nor noticed. He took photos of the things that needs attention and he explained to us what was going on. We even had a good laugh with some of the things he found. We were so glad that he did the inspection. Now our future house is going to be a really safe place to live.

Steve was a great home inspector. Thorough, friendly, and informative. He made sure to let us know all of his concerns and his best recommendation for fixing things. He forgot to look in the attic during the inspection; he informed us of this and drove 60 miles round trip to take another look which was greatly appreciated. He is quick to respond, and viewing the inspection reports was very easy.

Steve did the inspection of our new home in Yankton,SD. He's very professional, knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, and answered all our questions clearly. His report was very detailed and even got photographs for the problems and potential problems that he saw whether it be major or just minor. He's very keen observant and honest and that's what we all needed for our inspector to be. The process was smooth and easy because of his help all the way. He also did the radon test. We were very happy of his service. Highly recommended!
