I called 6 different survey companies for a quote on having the corners marked at our new house. Not only was Cagle the most affordable (by a lot), they also were also the best at communicating with me and came out to complete the job 6 weeks sooner than any other company. Friendly crew that answered all my questions, and now we have a beautiful map of our property. Highly recommend.

Contacted Cagle Land Surveying for a survey of new property prior to installing a boundary fence. Received a prompt response and a very fair estimate. Due to inclement weather it took a few days to get the survey complete but as soon as weather permitted the crew got right on the job. Upon completion of the survey I received several copies of the survey, they took the time to walk the boundary with me and pointed out all the marked corners and land lines. The crew was very friendly and informative. I wasn't sure who to call for a survey but I'm glad I checked with Cagles

We hired Cagle Land Surveying Group to conduct a boundary survey of 12.5 acres of land we purchased in Rising Fawn GA. Though Cagle was not the cheapest, they were available the soonest and we went with them. They required us to pay half the costs of the survey up front as a retainer and we completed and signed the form that stated this was a boundary survey for the parcel we were purchasing. We had already identified the upper corners (above the brow) and we flagged them and told Cagle where these pins were.
When they called us to say our survey was ready they told us that they only surveyed the upper section of land appx 2.9 acres because they "don't do brow surveys", but we "don't owe them any more money". Our documented communication with them referenced it was a brow and they even joked about how tough it was going to be. The Walker county tax records that surveyors use also states it's a brow lot, AND the surveyors that showed up to survey the flat 2.9 acres knew it was a brow lot, YET NO ONE EVER CALLED US to say they didn’t do brow lots! After I protested that the survey was useless to me and $1,500 was not a fair price for a 1/4 of my land anyway I was told by Mr. Cagle that I needed to sue him if I wanted my money back because the retainer was "non-refundable". Unfortunately I am in the process of doing just that and I have never had to sue anyone in all of my personal and business dealing.
By all means stay away from these crooks! Mr Cagle's actions alone in my case were borderline criminal and business-wise completely unethical! I fear that many people will just roll over and give into his unscrupulous bullying tactics and not follow thru with a lawsuit as I am.
UPDATE: We had our day in court and in a relatively short period of time the judge ruled in our favor and we received a full refund of our money. I also his son who we never dealt with represented the company and he seemed like a reasonable guy and might have handled this differently if he was involved.

We are building a house, but didn't realize that the land had to be re-surveyed to divide the acreage. We called EVERYONE in the book and either didn't get a response or it was going to be 6-8 weeks before anyone would even talk to us. I emailed Cagle and had a call that day. I explained to them that the builder would pay them and they were out here within a week to do our survey. The young men that came out to do the actual survey were friendly and explained everything to us. We've never had to go through anything like this before. They even re-drew an easement that the builder needed. They worked with us through having to petition the county to re-zone us from agricultural to residential. We have less than 15 days to close now (not due to the survey being late, but having to go through the rezoning) and they are still providing excellent customer service even after the survey. I would recommend them to anyone.
