Our 40 year old deck needed replacement in May 2020. Giancarlo, Alberto, and crew were professional, creative, hard working, and nice to have around. I was working from home and able to watch and enjoy the process. The composite used for the horizontal surfaces is attractive and easy to maintain - wash and remove leaves from. The vertical treated lumber surfaces were custom built on site and are a very stylish design. We have truly enjoyed using it since, the deck looks out on woods and is more than ever a restful retreat.

Knoxville Designer Decks

We had a very large deck replaced. It was a challenging job because of the extensive glass railings. They exhibited quality workmanship with integrity and punctuality. . They provided an initial estimate but allowed for changes and additions as requested. It was a pleasure working with them. They also did other jobs: electrical, caulking, door replacement. All their work is done well and backed by the integrity of the management. Will definitely use their services again. Very professional!!!!

These guys were great. Richard came out to discuss what we wanted done. He spent a great deal of time with us, helping us make decisions about the small things that go into building a beautiful deck. John and his crew did a fabulous job building the deck. The crew was courteous and cleaned up each day after they finished for the day. We look forward to finding another project for them to do for us.

We had a deck that was showing it's age and an area below the deck that was just a muddy mess. Because of this, we wanted the new deck to have 2 levels and Giancarlo was able to take our ideas and design a great, 2 level deck with lots of livable, usable space! The crew that was assigned to do our tear down and build was on time each day and were friendly, answering our questions whenever we asked. We decided to have the bottom deck a little closer to the ground (within the Code) and trade the original design that included railing on the bottom for a waterproofing system (see picture from under the deck that shows the rubberized material running between the upper floor joists to a gutter and downspout) that was installed directly underneath the top deck, and allowed for a dry area on the bottom deck for our pets and furniture. Our new deck is very solid, beautiful, and functional! The quote was very reasonable and the price did not change after the work started or after completion. We would confidently recommend Knoxville Designer Decks to anyone looking to improve the looks and value of their home!

We hired Knoxville Designer Decks to take down our original, small deck and roof and rebuild a new, larger & upgraded screened in deck. Our experience was nothing short of excellent! Clear and concise plans and quote, daily communication, attention to details with clean up after every day. The owners are accessible and the crew worked consistently hard through completion. I highly recommend this very professional company.
