Update: In response to the company's reply: I encourage you to come and see the current state of my yard. I highly doubt you would want to use it for marketing material—it's devastating. Additionally, you never shared any research material with me. Even if you had, it's not my responsibility to verify the quality of your research, and you most certainly did not "weigh pros and cons" with me. Lastly, mini clover thrives in many of my neighbors' yards. You carelessly chose the wrong type of clover. Own up to it. -- I initially hired them to grade my entire yard, inlay drain pipes, lay down dirt, and plant grass. However, I had to call them back multiple times to fix messy work. This included carelessly reassembling my flower bed after installing drain pipes, leaving large dirt clumps around my porch, and over-spraying fescue into my neighbor's yard and all over my garden bed, requiring weed control services to fix. I also asked for low maintenance clover to be planted as well. They admitted they weren't well-versed in clover types but assured me it was a good idea after some research. However, they didn't do enough research and planted the wrong type of clover, which has destroyed my lawn and has necessitated multiple weed services. When I brought this up with the owner, he didn’t apologize and essentially blamed me for choosing clover, despite his earlier agreement after (minimal) research. Additionally, when I mentioned the flower plants he installed in my rock wall weren’t blooming, he completely ignored that message. Overall, this is a company with little to no supervision of labor, no pride in their work, and results ranging from subpar to disastrous.

I am extremely pleased at the beautiful job seeds of change accomplished with all my landscaping. They were outstanding. Woody and his crew delivered the most excellent service. (Note: Original post was from 2023; I made an update in June 2024). As the wife of a disabled veteran, I am overwhelmed with gratitude to Seeds of Change for their help with our yard. I reached out to them a few weeks ago asking for a quote to remove overgrown shrubs and bushes in our backyard. My husband is no longer able to do difficult manual labor since being diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s and undergoing many surgeries. Preston came out right away to look at our yard and give us a quote. Imagine our total surprise to get a call back saying they want to do our yard for no cost; it is their way of giving back and serving someone who had served our country! A crew came out early this morning- a Saturday when they normally would have off. They not only took out all the overgrown bushes, but they brought a pallet of mulch, donated by Dickens Turf and Landscaping Supply, and spruced up our front yard as well! We recommend Seeds of Change to anyone looking for quality, professional work by a company focused on service in the community. We are so grateful! Update June 2024: We we’re so pleased with Seeds of Change that we hired them to do a complete overhaul of our backyard. Mitch was great in designing the layout of the sandstone as well as choosing plants. The very last pic is what our yard looks like now! Easy to maintain with a welcoming and inviting appearance.

We have had our system for nearly two years, and the service side of the business has continued to shine. Johnny manages my system and has taken care of problems that pop up with timeliness, professionalism, and competence. He has spent significant time diagnosing the issues and not just slapped a quick fix on it. If Johnny leaves this company, I will go where he goes. He's a keeper.

Seeds of change is a great company. I have used them for years for mowing services, cleanup, and landscape design. Malachi was at the house yesterday and did a fabulous job with weekly mowing.

I absolutely LOVE my new yard! Seeds of Change have been so great to work with. From the design by Liane, who captured my vision completely, to the guys who did all the work!! Those guys worked so hard and I can't believe one crew can 1) build a retaining wall, plant all the landscaping trees and shrubs AND build a beautiful flagstone walkway (including steps)! Shout out to James, Bus (also James), Chris (also James) and Jesse! What a great team! They were polite, hard working, tireless and efficient! This company also GIVES BACK in so many ways - check out their website.

Highly recommend! Seeds created an original paver area that matched our 'modern' aesthetic. The crew worked hard and were very diligent about doing everything just right. Very professional, personable and kind group of people! Will hire them for all my future outdoor projects.

After having worked with Seeds of Change, I'm convinced that you won't come across another landscaping company that is more genuine, dedicated and caring towards their clients and one another. Jill, the Project Foreman for my Dream Backyard (and side yard, at that!) was communicative and professional throughout the entire process. She and her team kept me informed every step of the way and made sure that I was happy with all of the design and implementation decisions. They truly captured my vision and I am now a Seeds of Change client and friend for life!
