Overall

Eric Beckwith, the manager, had a terrible demeanor and attitude towards the employees and customers. He talked down to them over the walkie-talkie and refused to allow me to return a full box of flooring that I had bought 2 days earlier because I bought it from a different location. It's one company. There's no reason to force a customer to drive an hour to another location to return something just because that was the location they bought it from. I will never shop here again and will recommend to everyone I know never to shop here.

They were exceptionally knowledgeable and good taste in matching colors and tile coordination.. definitely worth looking into this store and location..

I purchased LVP Duralux flooring in Winters Peak. The color is supposed to be beige but it's actually gray. The flooring is beautiful but I didn't want gray flooring. The website shows pictures of beige floor, the color description states beige and the floor display by the store entry also are beige. I checked my purchase to see if maybe I was given a different color. Nope it was Winters Peak I came home to beautiful floors but in gray.

Great place to find what we are looking for. What makes this place exceptional is the people and customer service. Everyone is so friendly, the design representative really helped us pick out the best options and listened to what we wanted.

To top it all off, during pick up the road was closed off and various employees banded together to haul the pieces I ordered to the next lot where I was stuck! Amazing! This is true customer obsession

Please, do not shop here. Drive the extra 20 minutes and go to a different location. You will not be treated as a customer once 7pm hits. We got into the store well before the store closed. No intercom announcement was made that the store was closing. We were approached at 7:10 by a worker asking if we needed anything. Never once were we approached before then. So I told the guy, oh yeah, we need this flooring pulled. I go to show him, and he immediately tells me he is not going to pull that. He flat out refused. No apology. Verbatim said “oh I’m not going to pull that, we’re closed” okay well no one asked us if we needed anything the 45 minutes we were there before. No one said, hey guys just so you’re aware, if you’re not, we’re closing soon.
So we got upset. Then another worker came and got rude with us as well. Yelled at us. Then threatened to call security on us because yes we got frustrated at the way we were being treated.
We weren’t the only ones in the store either. There were 3 other couples in there shopping too. Why come ask if we needed anything if you are going to just flat out refuse service?
I get that you want to go home. But to flat out refuse to do your job that you are paid to do, was ridiculous. We would have helped. We had a truck. We knew exactly what we wanted. We get out of work at 6:00. It was a mistake on our end for going in close to closing. But to be treated like that was so disappointing. In front of our 3 year old at that. To get aggressive like that was just uncalled for.
So please, save your time. Go somewhere else. I’ll be calling corporate tomorrow as well.

Luckily, Benda and Chris B. made my visits to the store so much easier. Their knowledge and expertise help me narrow down what I was looking for. On my second trip, Chris B remembered me from working with Brenda and she helped me from start to finish! It’s hard to come by helpful people these days so major props to them!

My experience with Floor and Decor was unbelievable. Since the beginning, the Pro Team was very efficient; from suggesting tiles and colors to the shipping to Mexico.
Parish, Jacob and Dalton were very helpful in suggesting colors and shapes.
The team was very aware of our needs and the main one preparing 9 pallets in order to ship them.
My rating on this shop is a new hight, 6 stars.
Thank you all and we highly recommend South Austin Floor and Decor, Great Job well done and I almost forgot great promotions on the tiles too.

Chris B. was wonderful to work with! She found a beautiful match to the accent tile I selected for the master bath and gave me an excellent flooring suggestion. I showed her my ideas for the upstairs bath and she showed me two good choices…from there she helped me select the accent tile. I mean laying it on the floor and finding the right individual pieces. Then, she loaded tiles in my cart, placed it all on an order for me, offered me water and a nice place to sit down and make my paint selections. When I was done, she helped me to the register with my two carts to buy my tile and helped load it all in my truck. I know this is a long post, but I want to give Chris B. the recognition she deserves! I asked her if I could giver her a hug when I left and we hugged and parted ways. Such a special lady! She helped me in every stage of my selection process and she did it with an honest willingness to help me. Extraordinary customer service!!
