I've done four different tile remodels around my house over the last 18 months. Bought substantial amounts from several of the local tile places including the Tile Shop. The prices at Tile Shop seem higher but sometimes they have some designs others do not. They advertise you can bring back unused product and many times they push getting more to make sure you have enough and just bring back what you don't use. However, it is never as easy as it seems. If they "discontinue" a certain pattern they will not take it back. They sell individual tiles but will only take back full boxes. Finally, they have a time limit for the return. Beware of that is your project takes a while. The last project I tried to bring back some metal trim and it was 3 days over the time limit and they would not take it. To be fair - I am sure that return date was provided some place - so that's on me. However, not the business approach I would rate highly.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this store. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, helped us calculate the cost of and the amount of tile we needed. We were also directed to the clearance isle, where we found exactly what we were looking for and they knocked the price off even more from the blowout price. They also helped us load the tile into our truck. Awesome experience. Btw, Chris is the rep that helped us. Very knowledgeable and not pushy at all, and always kept our budget in mind when helping us.

Anthony should be the employee of the month. I came in and placed an order with someone else. The decision was hasty so I wanted to revise it the second day. Anthony took care of me and offered tremendous help although the original order was not placed by him. He went out of his way to offer me his suggestions. The end result was marvelous.

Exceptional Customer Service from Dustin at the Gateway store and Michelle at the Round Rock location! Both went out of their way to show me many photos of the travertine and marble installed which I needed to see to have the confidence to go with a natural stone, as I’m experiencing a lot of color variation with other sources. It’s amazing that they will guarantee satisfaction when the product arrives or you are not obligated to accept it. That’s HUGE for me! Also the store displays REALLY help and knowing they offer all the matching trim pieces for the natural stones as well.

The Tile Shop carries a wide range of beautiful tile and also has many full displays (ex. full bathrooms) for inspiration. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I will purchase from them again!

This place was amazing! They have an unbeatable selection of tile with extremely unique patterns and shapes. From the minute I walked in the customer service was unsurpassed. Dustin greeted me and helped me choose the right tile by taking each selection to the display that was closest to my home layout. I also love that they allow you to check out the tile display which is already laid in large metal frame so you can take it home and see it in your environment. I had my heart set on a herringbone style that I found on Pinterest. After going to all the big box stores in town no one had a tile that was the right size. I’m so glad I came here because I got exactly what I wanted!

Best tile selection in the area!! Prices and quality is greater than your big box stores!! They also offer design services at no cost!! Highly recommended
