How often is it you ASK to write a review?! We just finished a major home decorating project with Heather and I wanted anyone who is in the market for a designer to know about our experience.
As we were planning to build our dream house, I knew we needed a professional designer to help us. I did extensive research from Austin to Atlanta for the best designer and when I spoke with Heather and then saw her AMAZING work, I knew we had found our designer. And after a whole-house project and working together for over a year, it is a complete understatement to say that Heather Scott and her team are the most amazing decorators you can find. In fact, the whole process was one of the best experiences we've ever had.
Heather and her entire team are engaged, filled with integrity, respectful of a budget, always responsive/timely and most of all, Heather's design skills gave us truly the most gorgeous home. We honestly cannot believe it is ours! We are THRILLED with our beautiful home and that is 100% thanks to Heather's talent and skills.
This project was fairly extensive, involved lots of rooms and we worked together almost daily for over a year. Heather was steady, smart, creative, wise and always spot-on. I am a very "selective" consumer {i.e., picky!} and I honestly don't have a single negative thing to report. It was a pleasure from start to finish to work with Heather and her team, and most importantly, we are in love with where we live thanks to her furnishings, paint colors, lighting selections, etc! Her team, Emily and Eli, were also beyond kind, helpful, replied to every email or question within hours and sent us regular updates. And, a huge selling point for us, their service is completely turn-key. They hung every picture/window treatment, placed all our books and family photos, and even made up our new beds and unpacked all our dishes and put them in the kitchen cabinets! All we had to do was unpack our clothes and toothbrushes!
Heather Scott Home and Design manages to set the bar so high and then proceeds to do every single thing with such excellence. We are so happy with our home and cannot recommend this designer more!
Update: We've since gut renovated and decorated another home with the Heather Scott team and couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome!
I worked with Heather and her fabulous team over the past couple years as we gut renovated and decorated our home in Austin. I can't recommend her services highly enough! I would have been lost and completely overwhelmed without her there to help me pick finishes, paint colors, and at the end of the process - accessories. Our home is beautiful and a pleasure to walk into at the end of the day thanks to Heather's top notch design skills. Her entire team is friendly, polite, and extremely responsive. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone who needs decorating help. They're true professionals.

I have worked with the Heather Scott team over several years on numerous projects. They are the best in the business. I remodeled two homes with their help and designed and built my office too. I cant recommend them more.

Over the past 15 years, the Heather Scott Home & Design team has seen us through a significant home remodel, two whole new home design projects in two states, and a temporary residence design project. Whether they are working on a room, or a 3000 sq ft new home project, Heather and Raquel bring a wealth of talent, professionalism and integrity to their projects. Each of our projects were unique, but the relationship we built with Raquel over the years has yielded results that reflect our point of view, are timeless, and truly beautiful. Regularly, visitors remark on how much they like to visit our homes, because they are not only stunning, but livable.
The HSHD team listens to their clients, respects the individuality of each client, and always ensures that the client is thrilled with the results. Whether asking for additional design options, or her feedback on our ideas, Raquel and the team are respectful and supportive. The team also delivered a seamless experience on an out-of-state, large design project without missing a beat.
I can honestly say that we have been excited by everything proposed, and delivered on all 5 of our projects. Heather, Raquel, Emily and the whole team are delightful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if the need arises!
