No show. Prioritized another client over us despite us having an appointment. We took time off of work specifically for their service and don’t have unlimited time just like everyone else on earth. Last minute cancel. Update: response to their response. Their response is a lie. As I indicated, we specifically took off of work. The excuse was to cover their behind. We would have been more than willing to work with them. It’s a shame they paint customers to look like this. The customer is always right is the correct mentality! In this case, all they had to do was show up even if they needed to make a modification to the plan. We were available. Poor business choices all around. I wouldn’t have wasted my time as a professional if I wasn’t serious about the job. Customers: look elsewhere.

I truly wish I could rate their quality of work and not their unprofessionalism. All I needed done was a ring floodlight cámara to be installed in my garage driveway. We scheduled twice and rescheduled once. On the day of reschedule we called their office number to confirm that an electrician was coming out and stated that they were. In fact they didn’t and did not even call. This could be important if you coordinated with a friend or neighbor; or even taken some time off of work to be able to meet a professional to do work at your residence. The sad part is that I’m capable of doing the work. I decided to let licensed “professionals” to do the work so that I can spend more time with my family before leaving on a 9 month rotation with the Army.

I called and had an appointment setup for the 2 April 21 at 0900 hrs. This appointment was made a week out to have a transfer box installed to connect my 12K portable generator to my home. At 0900 I called the office to verify that someone was coming out. I was informed that they were running behind on jobs from the previous day and they could not make it out. I understood the issue and asked to reschedule for another day. I was told that they would be at my house on Monday (5 April 21) at 0900 but no one showed up or called. At 0930 I called again to verify that someone was coming out and was told that yes my appointment was good and they would call me when they were on the way. At 1010 hours I received a text message on my phone informing me that my appointment was moved to 1200 hours and that Nathan Wilson and Dylan Shenefelt were the tech coming out. I waited until 1345 hours and no one showed up or called to tell me what was going on. At this point I felt that Amped Up Electrical Service does not need nor want my business. If you cannot trust the word of a business to show up at the appointed time and or keep you informed of changes, how can you trust them on anything else that they say. Therefore I will take my business somewhere else and I will not recommend Amped Up Electrical Services to anyone.

I used these guys for a service panel upgrade from 100 to 200 amps, upgrade the jump wire to the interior panel as part of a larger renovation, and installed hardwired smoke alarms. They were able to do the work the same week I called, which was a big bonus for me. These guys were some of the coolest contractors I've had the pleasure of working with. They answered all of my questions and listened to my concerns, were highly professional, fast to get the work done, and very personable, polite people. I would call these guys again in a heartbeat to get any electrical work done that I needed. Thank you guys!
