We hired a general contractor for a large renovation job (recovering from the Feb 2016 Texas freeze and broken pipes) and their drywaller did such incredible poor work that we had to stop work. They had the drywall in contact with the slab (a no-no because of moisture wicking) but shy of the ceiling (the wall drywall is supposed to help support the ceiling drywall). The joints were so off-center in many places that the drywall screws had to be toenailed in. Some drywall screws missed completely and were screwed into air. On top of that, around 2/3 of the screws were driven way too far in because they had neither the proper tools nor the skills to do the work. Every one of those overdriven screws was a "nail pop" waiting to happen. As we were firing them, they were scrambling to hide their sins with drywall mud. A complete mess.
I gave up on the general Contractor at that point and found Sergio directly. He came in, removed all of their deficient work and redid everything. . . correctly. He had the appropriate tools. He worked steadily and carefully. The total job cost was significantly lower than that of the general contractor (who added zero value anyway since he provided no supervision). Sergio did a fantastic job repairing a hole with drywall. He was efficient and came back and painted the next day and it was a superb job! Highly recommend.

Sergio of drywall guy Houston came highly recommended by a good friend of mine. We needed a small ceiling patch,tape,float and texture and another small patch in an upstairs bedroom.Prompt reply to my text and very quick in scheduling the work to be done. High quaility of work. The repairman was very diligent in his work and awareness of the cleanliness of our home . I would highly recommend Sergio 100% for any drywall needs ?

I picked 3 online contractors in the Houston area to compare prices, to build me a showroom. I picked the Drywall Guy for the best price. He planned 2 weeks to complete the showroom and he delivered. The showroom looks amazing with new walls and ceiling tiles. This guy kept me posted on what was going to be done every day and I liked the attention to detail. I highly recommend him.

Sergio was so awesome to work with. He went above and beyond to ensure his work was perfect. He painted the entire house made several texture and sheetrock repairs and painted all the doors. He even came back when he was finished to ensure I was happy with everything. I have never felt so relieved to have hired someone so knowledgeable and skilled.I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for sheetrock repair texture or painting.

Sergio did a good job on my bathroom ceiling replacement and retexturing and painting of walls. Very responsive and punctual. Even called after his job and offered to come back and do touch ups after the other trades were finished with the bathroom. Would recommend.

Sergio did great work for us. We have used him several times and each time he is professional and a great asset to us. If you need someone who is reliable and can do a lot of the remodeling activities (not just drywall), give Sergio a call.
