Door fell off the track one morning, had a tech out the next day. He was good, professional. Said do you want a repair or a new. This is an old door and I did not think it could be repaired. I went for a new door instead, new everything. He did do a fix on the spot, which cost, but discounted it as I went for the new. The tech who replaced was super pro and I can open this baby with one hand. I called after 7 pm for an update on the install time, got the answering service, nice person and got a call back from the company within 15 minutes to verify. Rock on.

Not the craftsmanship I expected! I had my garage door replaced yesterday. There is a 1/2 inch gap on one side of the door and one panel isn't sitting perfectly straight. Panels wobble a little, I can easily push them back and forth about 1/2 inch with my hand. The technician said my walls arent straight, but the old door that he replaced never had this issue. And i can tell that my wall is fine. I'm a civil engineer by the way :) I called the office number right after he left to schedule adjustments and was told that the tech will come back some time tomorrow, they were unable to specify the timeframe. UPD: The tech stopped by and did some minor adjustments. He was able to reduce the gaps a bit but not the panel misalignment. He said that I need to replace the seals on all sides to remove the gaps completely. UPD 2: The garage door installer stopped by again to install new seals and adjust the doors again. He ended up spending more than 3 hours adjusting and fixing his own work, and I still have a visible gap at the top of the door :) You can blame my walls all you want but the fact is that he did a far from perfect job in the first place and had to return twice to fix it.

Vester the garage door technician was Awesome. I could tell this guy was extremely knowledgeable and had the integrity to fix things right. My garage door needed new torsion springs and he adjusted everything perfectly. My garage door runs smooth as silk.
