It all started with a leak in the wall of my master bathroom in early June 2023. My original project manager quoted me a week to have the repair and remodel completed. However, here we are well over a year later and the job is still ongoing. After over a year of intermittent periods of not being able to use my bathroom due to different projects being done, American Water Damage not only proved themselves to be incompetent in their work, but also to be unreliable. There have been well over a handful of times that they assured me there were worked coming to my house to complete a task, but never showed. As many of us know, we can only take so many days off from work before it becomes an issue. They not only wasted my time by not showing up, but when they did show, their work was substandard at best. The communication with the project managers was the most difficult and frustrating part, as they were the ones that controlled the pace of the project. In conjunction with the communication, they would frequently try to justify their mistakes in the repairs themselves. American Water Damage had tried resurfacing my tub over 4 times after they left it chipped and damaged. It has still yet to be fixed. They tile work and shower install is by far the worst I have ever seen between the questionable quality, and the grout already cracking in a many of the corners it is more water damage waiting to happen. The tile and shower have been sitting there for over 6months without being fixed, even after they said they were on it. All in all, this has been the most frustrating and annoying experience I’ve ever had when working with a repair company and would not recommend American Water Damage to anyone, seek elsewhere for repairs. There are more issues than the ones shown, and the photos posted do not do them justice.

Angelia & Edgar are so informative, very professional & very knowledgeable! Edgar helped us work with our insurance, walked us through process to get our leak fixed properly.

If you are elderly be careful of this place. Joe and Nathan make promises and then never follow through. Joe will try to bully you into accepting substandard work and then try to blame you for the situation. Nathan, Joe’s boss, says he wants to fix the situation but then does not even bother to stop by to access the work done. This company has changed over the past couple years from good to horrible. This company is trying to make a lot of money providing substandard work. Go elsewhere

Marc E. was fantastic! Excellent customer service and communication, thoroughly explained everything and answered all questions I had. Plus it was so nice to NOT have to talk to my insurance because he did it for me. Highly recommend!
JC was great for the demo work. He was fast and efficient. Very nice and also answered all my questions! He made sure to let me know what he was doing at all times, and cleaned everything up. Great guy!
Jonathon was very nice while doing his equipment check. He even called someone to get answers for me. He was polite, fast and sincere. Only met him for a few minutes, but it was a pleasant interaction.

Day 1 into the process of dealing with water damage and I couldn't feel more at ease. Alex did an amazing job of getting rid of all the wet materials and explaining the whole process of what is yet to come. The young men who came to pack up furnishings were quick, efficient and professional. This company is definitely making a stressful time feel much more manageable. These guys do it all and they do it with expertise.
