If you’re looking for engineering design and prototyping look no further. Alpine Engineering & Design is excellent and very affordable. They helped me with 3D CAD designing needed for manufacturing of one of my inventions. It’s a lighted apparatus for skateboard wheels and roller skates. It’s a very technical little gadget. David Smith worked closely with me to get the designs perfected. One of my favorite things, besides their very affordable fees, was this, how David closely listened to and articulated what I wanted. He was always easy to contact and available whenever I needed to reach him. I tried several other different engineering firms before and they were way too costly for my budget, also were difficult to reach and work with right off the bat compared to the great experience I’ve had with Alpine Engineering & Design. I would highly recommend them to anybody whether you’re an inventor at any level, or even contemplating chasing your dream of bringing a product idea to market. They have the technical know-how to get your dreams to come to fruition. Highly-intelligent designing skills as well as help with sourcing. This was one of my other favorite things about them. They were more than helpful in sharing insight with events, conventions and sourcing that can help inventors network with seeing your product to the ultimate goal of getting it into the market. Even after our project was finished, David followed up with me to see how things were going and if he could be of help in any other ways for me reach my goals. Overall, my experiences with Alpine Engineering & Design were Five-Star quality. Everybody in the office was always polite, professional and helpful. It is no wonder that they are an award-winning company!

I worked here, I loved it. the only part that was hard was the attention to detail. I helped build their many projects, and keep the shop usable and clean. Fred works hard, there where many time where I would drive past and see his vehicle in the parking lot at 12:00 at night. I would see him still working away on reports or concepts. I would recommended this company to work with or for. I was impressed by the honesty and the character of each employee and the boss. If you are on the clock you are working and working hard.

I spent last summer working at Alpine Engineering and Design, Inc. as an intern for about three months. I was assigned a project to design a test fixture for rear impact guards which was meant to be build in house and used for trailer rear impact guard certifications for interested clients. I mainly used the structural analysis abilities of Solidworks and was able to create a design, after a few iterations and feedback, that applied the required force while still maintaining its structural integrity. I really enjoyed my time at Alpine Engineering and Design, Inc. as it was a great learning experience for both my structural analysis and design skills as well as a chance to participate in a project that would be beneficial for the company. I learned about selecting materials and elements in my design that would be cost effective to purchase and easy to assemble in the final design rather than using my theoretical parts I initially came up with (what I was used to doing in school). I also learned the importance of eye-balling a design first using hand calculations to verify that what the computer is saying is on the right track. I believe these skills will help me be a better engineer in my future responsibilities. I also enjoyed working with my co-workers. They were all very friendly and helpful and were always willing to answer my questions and help me solve problems that I was struggling with. While focused and professional when it came to working, they were also fun and lighthearted during breaks making the time working there more enjoyable. I feel that I was valued and included in the company environment even though I was there for such a short time. I would definitely recommend Alpine Engineering and Design, Inc. as a wonderful place to work as well as a dependable company for engineering design work and consultation.

I recently engaged Alpine Engineering & Design, Inc. to generate a working prototype of an invention I've been working on for quite some time. Cameron C. Orr was the main engineer responsible for coming up with a 3D model along with the initial draft drawings, and other related items. I found Alpine Engineering & Design to be very professional, true to their word, and willing to go way beyond the "extra mile" with no extra charge to me. I can easily recommend them to anyone considering availing themselves of their services. Weston E. Whatcott, Inventor of the WestKat
