A horrible experience across all parts of the process. It has been over a year since install. We were lied to by their sales guy about the system and tax refunds. We were promised a 12 kWh system, it produced 9.4 kWh. They do not communicate...I am waiting for a call from the owner of the company as I type this. He knew they screwed up back at install because he Venmo'd me two months of my power bill to make up for it. Now I am waiting for them to install more panels that have been sitting in my driveway in the elements for weeks with zero communication. They ordered the wrong parts, again! (This is the 3rd time) Find a company with more experience.
They were easy to work with. Made the project easy. I received a quote to have some extra work by another electrician and they quoted me $1500. Blue Sky Solar did it for a fraction of the cost.

My experience with Blue Sky Solar was positive from the start. From the first call to assess my situation to the final installation everything was explained fully and clearly. All the personnel involved along the way were very professional, patient and knowledgeable about the product and the installation process. The only frustrating part was the coordination between the company, the county and the power utility. But I guess some of this is unavoidable when dealing with bureaucracies. All in all a very good experience.

Blue Sky Solar was amazing to work with. We got multiple bids and they were the best price by far. From Todd in sales, to Sammi and Megan helping with the onboarding and answering all my questions, and Logan to helping manage the project, everything went great. If you're considering going solar, definitely recommend givinf Blue Sky a try!

I began my solar experience with another company. I decided I needed to look around and found Blue Sky Solar. I'm glad I did. The initial meeting surpassed the other company and my decision was made. Throughout the process the communication was seamless. I always knew what was going on, where my project was and what the next step was. Almost the entire process was done via email with very minimal phone calls. Personally I liked it that way because I work graveyards and could respond to emails easier than phone calls. The product is top of the line, the install was completed in a day and the follow-up was completed shortly after that. Blue Sky knew what they were doing and planned everything from A to Z. I didn't have to worry about anything. Overall it was a great experience with efficiency and great communication. If you are looking into solar, check out Blue Sky Solar!

When I was looking into installing solar panels, I looked at about 10 different companies in the Salt Lake Area, and did a ton of research on what I should expect to generate/use, so I went in to this with certain expectations which Blue Sky Solar met and exceeded. The sales staff (I worked with Trent) was very informative and at no point did I feel under any pressure to choose something I didn't already know I wanted based on my own research. Some of the other 10 companies I looked at either tried to upsell me, or just weren't as responsive to my questions/concerns. Once I was ready to move forward with installation, they were extremely flexible, and worked with me to find a payment plan that worked with my timing but also reduced my overall cost. Once installation began, I started working with a project manager (Felisha) at Blue Sky who was just as flexible and responsive to my (numerous) questions. She did a great job making sure everything came together by my deadline, and even drove all the way from Layton at the last minute to meet with the city inspector to open up some of the electrical panels.
I'm four months into using my system, and production is very close to what they (and I) estimated it to be. I was able to get the slightly more efficient REC-Alpha Blacks at a great price and am thrilled with the system so far. The Alpha Blacks are slimmer and look really nice on my roof, and have a slightly better lifespan and efficiency than some of the other panel options. While most companies will provide a similar option for the panels themselves, it's hard to imagine anyone would have been as easy to work with as Blue Sky (or as affordable). If we ever move, or when it's time to replace them in 30 years, I will definitely reach out to Blue Sky again!

We had a great experience working with Blue Sky Solar. They communicated well, were very responsive to any questions that came up and helpful in every step of the way. It is very clear they work hard for their customers and want what is best for them. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do solar!
