Their entire crew tried to break into my backyard AGAIN to install a pool this morning without knocking on the front door FIRST. You would hope they would have the correct address when they’re installing a $300,000 pool and not just break into some random person’s backyard. Still haven’t heard from the owner or manager regarding any of this and they’re impossible to get a hold of on the phone.
One of the ropes on our automatic pool cover rope broke this week. It’s less than three years old so I called our pool builder deep blue to fix it and see if it was covered under warranty. I was told ropes aren’t covered. I told them my warranty paper work says ropes are covered. The customer help rep then changed the story and said she meant to say they aren’t usually covered and would need pictures. Always makes a customer feel good when the story changes and it’s clear they don’t know what they’re talking about. Just say I don’t know and will get back to you. And then actually follow up. So anyway I sent some pics as requested.
Didn’t hear back for a couple days so this morning out of curiosity I called the manufacturer directly. Took all of two min for them to confirm the ropes are covered and for them to send replacements along with a recommendation for a qualified local installer.
This is a minor example of the pain we went through during the construction phase of our pool. Are they’re being dishonest telling me ropes aren’t covered or do they just not know how to do their job, I can never tell but neither is acceptable.
I’m glad some people have had good experiences with deep blue, but my experience from construction through to ongoing service has been horrible. If you want to work with a reliable company that does what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it and can provide true expertise and responsive customer service, I would not recommend deep blue.

First ever pool build. We chose Deep Blue because they seemed honest, genuine, and true experts in their field of building pools- they were every bit of this through the entire process. Every person we dealt with through the entire build was a joy to work with and they completed the build in the timeframe they initially told us. One thing to note too is that their pricing is straightforward and there are zero hidden fees so you know where you stand for your own budgeting. Highly recommend Deep Blue!!!!

Deep Blue has some really good employees.
Shout out to Letty, who walked me through different aspects of my new pool. She was very thorough with the work she did, not skipping any corners at all. She was knowledgeable, and an AMAZING teacher to me, an uneducated pool owner.
Another shout out to Tad, who came over and quickly put my filter back together so I could begin heating and filtering the pool. He very patiently answered EVERY ONE of my questions
Deep Blue is lucky to have such friendly and intelligent pool technicians.

Sheldon came out today and replaced a light that had burned out under water, he was super knowledgeable and got the job done quick, cleaned up and even suggested this little stone for cleaning up old dirt spots that I thought were permanently stained in the bottom of the pool. This company has been awesome to work with over the past year since i bought this old house, they maintain the pool weekly and have also installed a salt water system and new cover system. Pool is running like new even though it’s older than me! -tim
