I’ve used Apex 3 times for duct cleaning, tune up and replacing my condenser. Every time, they were professional, arrived on time, did a great job, and their prices are fair. Additionally, I once had an issue that was caused due to a power outage and although it wasn’t their fault, they still came out and tried to assist the best they could. I’ve used 2 other HVAC companies before and Apex has surpassed them by far in performance and customer service. I’ll continue to use them in the future.

Kaydin called me 30 minutes before his arrival to let me know his ETA. He was about an hour into the arrival window, and it worked out great for me. Kaydin and Tanyon did a walk through to count my registers (vents) and my air returns in order to determine what was covered in the $49 duct cleaning special and what was not. My condo is up 2 flights of stairs, so they did need to charge me $25 per fight in order to haul the very heavy equipment up to my residence. I had no issues with this fee, but I do wish the scheduler had asked more questions during the booking process so they could disclose the fee. Kaydin wore shoe covers and laid down a drop cloth under the vent vac to protect my floors. He also placed orange corner guards around my home to keep the vacuum hose from damaging my paint or door frames. Kaydin worked methodically from the furthest room to the vent right above my front door, taking his time and documenting his work with before and after photos (which he kindly attached to the PDF invoice they emailed me after the appointment). Near the end of the appointment, Kaydin took me through his findings and recommendations, including: 1. a microbial swap for the growth he found in 2 vents, and 2. possible vent sanitation service to kill any bacteria that is growing due to moisture in those areas. My only note that isn't positive is this: my technician should have been wearing ear pro. The noise level and pitch of the vent vac was painful, and certainly at levels that can cause hearing damage. I did call afterward to let the office know the techs should be outfitted with hearing protection (ear plugs or muffs) to ensure their hard working technicians, like Kaydin, do not suffer hearing loss as a reward for all their hard work. I hope they take this to heart and correct this for their guys. They deserve it!
