I hired Justin & his crew to clean out mold from our crawl space & encapsulate it with spray foam and a dehumidifier. Overall they did a great job. Got rid of all the mold and did an excellent job overlaying the vapor barrier where needed and sealing up the walls & any openings extremely well with spray foam. The only thing they didn’t do well is install the dehumidifier. It was clear they forgot cinderblocks and it was the last part of the job so they tried to lift it with a foam sheet they had & gravity drain the line outside. Only problem is that didn’t create enough of an angle (shown in the first photo) so when I checked on the crawl space a couple days after the job was done I found the drain line clogged and lots of water on the ground. I’m glad I caught it quick but it required me buying cinderblocks & a condensate pump and installing those myself (shown in the second photo). Annoying they didn’t do the last part well but they did everything else extremely well, which I would argue were the harder parts than buying cinderblocks and a condensate pump. I’d definitely recommend this company for anyone thinking about encapsulating their crawl space.

I'm amending my previous review as there was immediate response to my negative report. It seems that there was a lapse in communication due to old systems merging with new systems. The unanswered calls were due to an unavoidable emergency within the office that unfortunately occurred on the day I happened to call. My issues were heard, Mr. Sprouse called me personally to apologize for any and all confusion, and there is a team being sent back to our place to correct an issue that was discussed. Thank you for your quick responses and for coming out to address our issues. Now that I know Creative Conservation is still serving the VA market I will definitely be calling them back to do any of our insulation work in the future.

My attic needed to be reinsulated and sealed as part of a heating system project. I am very grateful for Creative Conservation, their knoweldgeable and careful work and their patience with me. They even offered to finish sealing my crawl space while they were there….taping the plastic. I was most impressed by the people who did the actual work….it wasn’t just a sales pitch by the owner. The two people who were crawling around under my house not only taped all the seams, but they lifted the well expansion tank in order to spread the plastic underneath it….and even leveled the tank which had been tilting on the uneven ground. That looked like a terribly heavy job to me and I had told them they didn’t need to do it….but they did the whole job right. This was a project that required coordinating a lot of steps as well as technical skill with the spray foam. Their employees seemed as committed to the work as their owner. I strongly recommend them.
