We can never speak highly enough about James and Mike. They were extraordinarily professional, courteous, and a real pleasure to work with. James gave us a detailed quote and stuck to it, even when a few details had to change. They took all of the anxiety of the electrical portion of our renovation completely off our shoulders, freeing us up to focus on other aspects of a very challenging job. We would gladly work with Coates Electric again on ANY project, and look forward to having a few slices with them when we get our pizzeria up and running again—which will be in large part because of their Herculean efforts.
James with Coates Electrical is great to deal with. I called due to an outlet not working, and he would have come that day, but we scheduled for the following day. He arrived within 6 minutes of the appointment time. He was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will call on him in the future and highly recommend you do the same.

Hired Coates Electrical Service to replace two outside lights and reinforce an outside receptacle. Leon and Jodiah were prompt, courteous, professional and skilled in their work. The cost of the project was reasonable. I am a repeat customer with Coates Electric and I highly recommend them!

James was AWESOME. He was through in analyzing my concerns for a bad breaker. He was friendly and professional. He explained things to my understanding and he patiently listened. I truly never had a service person as friendly. If there was a sixth star to choose for service, I would have gladly chosen that for my review.

James from Coates Electrical Service is amazing! I called and he came the next day. In an hour he fixed my issue with my two ceiling fans. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He also cleaned up after himself. His pricing was extremely fair. If you are in need of electrical work, I highly recommend James and Coates Electric Service.

I’ve been working on light switches in my new house and I got to a spot where I needed a professional. I called Coates based on Google reviews. I called on a Friday evening and they set an appointment for Monday at noon. Leon arrived a few minutes early and was very pleasant and professional. He explained the issue and how best to fix it if I run into a similar situation. I recommend Coates and will call them again if I ever need an electrician.

Joe & Leon did an excellent job of installing conduit, deck lights and interior fixtures. The project was not very big but it was made up of a lot of small jobs that needed the special care and attention that the pros of Coates provided. Definitely 5 stars and will use them again

Coates electrical service has been very great to work with. I had a small project that I hired them to do and was thoroughly impressed. So much so that when something much bigger came up, I knew who to call. Very professional and thorough. I will absolutely call them again, if I have anything electrical come up. Both times they have been at my house left a great impression.

We had the best experience with James, Mike, and Joe, the team did a great job, and were very personable and professional. They answered all of our questions and kept us informed every step of the way. We are extremely pleased with the work done, them taking into consideration our furniture and floors, and cleaned up before they left. We will definitely be calling with our next electrical project. Edit* We were so happy with all of our completed work, we had James and his team install a whole house generator , again everything has turned out beautifully. Timely, professional, easy going, the list keeps on. James and his team are awesome. Thank you again !
