I bought a house a few months ago and the inspector said the roof was in good shape. A few weeks ago, I got a leak and a hole in my LR ceiling and wall. I called Ryan Pacheco at Commonwealth and he came right over to look at my roof. Friends in WV knew friends who had used Commonwealth and highly recommended Ryan.
Of course, there were 20-30 places on the roof that were in bad shape. The price he quoted was competitive and the warranty he offered was much better than another roofing company who gave me an estimate. The biggest difference I noticed was Ryan’s attention to detail, empathy for me as a homeowner and the personal interest he had in helping me out. As soon as the material was ready, his crew came on time and had the roof done in less than half the time I thought it would take. I have rescued animals who are so afraid of noise, so that was a nice surprise to have it done quickly. Ryan inspected the roof when they were done and was here picking up a very few stray nails. I have had other roofs installed and this was the first time they put tarps all around the house to catch all of the debris. They cleaned up and were gone before I realized they were finished. I thought they were taking a lunch break!
I wholeheartedly recommend Commonwealth Roofing and the care and concern Ryan has shown for me and for my animals. The roof is absolutely beautiful. He was honest, personable and went out of his way to make this a good experience for us. Thank you, Ryan.
Commonwealth Roofing did excellent work on putting a metal roof on my pergola. Ryan was a pleasure to work with during the process. Good communication and coordination of the job, too. The clean-up after the job was great and the cost remained as quoted. I highly recommend them.

The morning after the tornado hit Front Ave in Salem we were in shock. Our roof was completely ripped off and was in the yard across the street. Inside our house everything was wet. Being old and retired we were Devastated. Ryan Pacheco came up to us and said, I'll help you at least get tarps on the roof. I'm just want to help. That night he came back by himself with tarps and put them up . Besides a holiday and dark outside he wanted us to feel safe. People just don't do that anymore but Ryan does. Besides the best price it meant so much that he really cared. Like the old days. They put our roof on in a day and I couldn't ask for a better job. The guys worked hard and cleaned up all around house. If you don't use this company and Ryan you are not getting the best.

Commonwealth Roofing Specialists recently replaced my workshop roof with painted metal panels and new OSB plywood. Chad, my contact, was responsive and answered all my questions. The price was fair and competitive, and their warranty is very good.
The crew were experienced, polite, careful, knew their jobs, worked well as a team and cleaned up completely when they were done. It took about five hours, including a brief delay to remove a nest of black snakes from the rafters. (The snakes were released into the woods.) The workmanship is excellent and the materials are all of high quality.
I am entirely satisfied with the results, and Commonwealth Roofing Specialists will be the first company I call when I need roofing work in the future.

My experience with Commonwealth Roofing Specialist, LLC was excellent from estimate to completion. Chad Farmer was thorough with his explanation of the roofing process and he was present and attentive during instillation. I would highly recommend this local, veteran owned business.

Awesome guys. Fantastic work and clean up. Chad and the crew did a great job replacing our roof. Definitely recommend Commonwealth Roofing. Owner even came out and you rarely see that. Very pleased.

My husband and I highly recommend contacting Commonwealth Roofing Specialists for your roofing needs. We needed a roof inspection performed. Ryan came in a very timely manner. When he arrived, he was pleasant to talk to and treated my husband with respect. He was knowledgeable and efficient during the inspection. He was willing to discuss any questions my husband had and explained his findings. It's refreshing to experience integrity in this day and age. Chad was great from start to finish. After comparing quotes from several companies, Commonwealth won us over with not only their price but also their expertise and customer service. I had plenty of questions and Chad was happy to explain in detail. They also managed to work us into their schedule to get the new roof installed much faster than we originally expected. Happy to have found a local company that I felt I could trust to do a quality installation of a quality product.
