Overall

I went in with questions about a warranty after spending thousands of dollars on a mower. All my questions got me was an incredibly bad attitude from the guy behind the counter. The place was empty and he wasn't busy. Truly inexcusable behavior from a customer service rep.

I was eligible for warranty service, but decided against it because I don't want to give them my business. I bought local for good service... I was wrong.

I brought in my Stihl Farm Boss chainsaw to Mortons for a repair due to a fuel line leak. Mortons told me it would take 4-5 weeks and $85/hour. I to take my Stihl chainsaw to Gateway Power Equipment because I could not wait 4-5 weeks. One of the managers at the desk took one look at the chainsaw and installed a part took less than 3 minutes from start to finish. The best part, if it couldnt get any better, the charge was less than $10 total. Love this place! Having a Stihl chainsaw, weedeater, hedge trimmer, backpack blower and pole saw,...Gateway Power Equipment is not my go to place. Thank you; Thank you; Thank you!

Took my lawn mower to them after it was idling high. They determined the issue and asked how old the mower was and did everything under the manufacturers warranty... and did it in a timely fashion. Will definitely use this place again, warranty or not.

Friendly and knowledgeable people. Took a Hustler Super Z in for carburetor issues. They called with repair estimate and fixed it within their estimated time window. Happy with the work and the cost. I would definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good about this business. These folks will take care of whatever you need, large or small. I went in because I wanted to buy local, buy American, and mostly because I couldn't get waited on at Lowe's or home Depot. They could've cared less that I wanted a mower today. I called ahead, Ms Whitney welcomed me to come look at what I get had, even described the mower I was interested in. Jason greeted me when I walked in, I asked him to let me look. When I was ready we talked about the mowers he had compared to what I had look at elsewhere. He knew his mowers. He knew what I was looking for and showed me the mower. I had a price limit and they met it. I could not be more satisfied. They even helped me service my smaller older mower and it runs like brand new again. I took an hour and forty minutes off my mow time. Thanks Gateway, thanks Whitney, thanks Jason. Lifetime loyalty now.
