Arron helped me out of a tight spot when one of our boat panels ripped with big storm looming. Stopped what he was doing to assist! Rarely found these days and so much appreciated! A+++

We recently had an old, curved awning replaced (work also done by Hustead's). We are just as pleased today as were then. The "team" there is a pleasure to work with from the office (Deb & Sam), the estimator (Jordan), the installation (Nick and crew) and, of course, the owner, Dennis. As the photo indicates, it was not an easy job! We would highly recommend Hustead's - their work is second to none - just like they always have been.

March 16 signed contract for a fixed awning 12x18. Jordan was estimator-measurement person. Said 6 weeks for install, I paid 1/2 down to get them started. 6 weeks after my install date they brought out awning. Was not even close to fitting. 2 weeks later again install crew came out with awning. Did not fit again. 2 more weeks owner mr Huestead came out to measure again. 6.30 on a Friday evening. I assisted him in measuring. He said to me this was not the only problem he had. Actually felt sorry for him. One week later his installer brought out awning and installed it. The awning holds water,(have had to put pvc pipe between awning frame to help drain water, am taking a sponge mop and pushing up on fabric to let water drain off.some dips in fabric hold 3 gallons of water.) Is not fastened to frame properly. Mr. Huestead will not return calls, won’t come out, nothing!! His installer said they spend more time fixing wrongly measured work than installing new jobs. Don’t pay with check, use a credit card so you can dispute a merchant in case you get taken. This awning is an example of horrible workmanship in the estimating department and sewing room. His estimator Jordan has caused the initial problem by not being able to correctly measure. His response to me was ‘opps’ the patio this awning is covering is in full sun most of morning. I wrote a letter asking him to come out and install an awning correctly, take this one back, and refund my money. Not one response from him. One of his own employees said that he has lost so much money on this job that he is not coming back. Call anyone but this company. If I could give 5 negative stars I would. Now am in process of hiring someone else.

I took my old, tired awning to get re-covered. Dennis, the owner recognized the awning. Turns out he built it several years ago. What a memory! Nonetheless they did a fabulous job within my budget, and finished ahead of the estimated timeline. Each employee was helpful and knowledgeable about the process. Thank you so much. If I need this service again, I will not look anywhere else!
