I recently used 1-Tom-Plumber for a kitchen faucet issue that i had with a 24 year old faucet, in my home. From my initial contact with the office personal, Gabrielle who took my call and did her best to get my issue resolved professionally and quickly.
On the day of service, Eric Washburn arrived on time and was very courteous and respectful. Although, he ran into some difficultly getting the old part off, and took a bit longer than expected still did an amazing job.
The pricing was fair and transparent. There were no surprises. I will be definitely be using their services again, if the need arises.
We had a fairly simple job to reconnect a pipe that had become separated. My wife was told "It will take me about 15 minutes and the charge will be $596". Probably took him a bit more than 15 minutes and he did use maybe $20 in parts from the looks of it but still - at my house less then an hour and almost $600. I probably won't be calling them again.
RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: Thank you for pointing out that we approved the work and estimate. I don't believe I indicated in the review that the work was not approved. Yes, I could have sent your guy down the road but 4th of July is a day and a half away and we had no hot water. Had I sent him away I may well not have had hot water till the next week given the holiday. Also, I didn't mention this in my original review, but you were sending your tech to an entirely different address across town in spite of me spelling the name of the street for the appointment setter. Luckily I caught that mistake before he showed up at the wrong house. For the above additional reasons I'm dropping my rating from 3 to 1 star.

Awesome group of guys that came out quickly to replace our well pump. Eric W. and Sean C. were great professionals who had a lot of knowledge and answered all my questions. They will be the plumbers I call in the future! Thank you!

They were amazing! Within an hour of my call, they had someone assessing my situation! Eric was very patient and knowledgeable (I ask A LOT of questions—sometimes the same ones twice), and he showed me everything going on. He was able to point out some past issues from the previous owners and even some things for me to look out for in future repairs/ projects. I will definitely be using 1Tom Plumbing for future work!

I can’t recommend this plumbing company enough! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.
Sean came out promptly to assess our plumbing issue, and his professionalism and knowledge were evident right from the start. He took the time to explain the possible problems and what options could be done, which gave us great peace of mine. Before having to take the drastic step and cut a hole in our ceiling, Sean communicated with us an option that we could try first. Sadly that was not the issue, but I was happy to know when it came time to cutting a hole in our kitchen ceiling that it was the only option at that time.
When it came time for the actual repairs, Travis and Jason were the dream team. They arrived on time, worked efficiently together, and ensured everything was fixed perfectly. They were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and even took the time to explain what they had done and why.
Gabrielle in the office made the entire scheduling process a breeze. She was incredibly responsive, friendly, and worked quickly to get our appointment on the books. It was so refreshing to deal with someone so efficient and pleasant.
Lastly, a big shoutout to Robert for referring us to this amazing plumbing team. His recommendation was spot on, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.
If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, friendly plumbing service, look no further. 1-Tom Plumber is simply the best.

I had to request an on call service today; Memorial Day. The dispatcher was a pleasure to deal with and extremely nice. Jason was dispatched and arrived quickly. He was so polite, professional and worked fast, yet efficiently to repair my plumbing emergency. I will continue to support this business because of the work done today, but also because they employ military veterans. Jason is one of those veterans. I am also a veteran. I sincerely appreciate his service to this country, and the service he rendered today. This business isn’t like stereotypical plumbing companies, as their pricing is more than reasonable and the work is phenomenal. Exceptional professionalism all the way around! Thank you!

Very prompt Customer Service. My rating for this company is 5+ from the start. Gabriel was very polite, courteous, and professional. Gabriel made me feel like I would be taken care of with exceptional care from start to finish. Sean is simply amazing he explained everything to me in detail and gave me tips on maintenance. Sean displayed knowledge, superb customer service, empathy, and relatable. My 2 boys can't stop talking about him he was able to give them some gems answering questions about what it looks like to become a plumber. Overall, I am very impressed with the service I received. My rating in total 10+ very knowledgeable customer service superb he showed empathy.

Richmond area. Great customer service! Gabrielle is the best! And Eric is top notch the best! Very knowledgeable and assertive in getting the repair done in a timely and professional manner and they have flexible scheduling to meet costumer needs. Quality service from quality people. Highly recommended.

Jasón was extremely professional, understanding and kind. Came initially to provide an estimate, was very respectful and knowledgeable. I had other companies that came over after, but had higher expectations based on Jason’s visit. I end up calling 1 Tom Plumbers again not only they provided a better price their services was excellent.
