We took an old kitchen space and dining room space and made one large kitchen. Frank and DeeDee shared our vision and designed an absolutely beautiful kitchen at a reasonable price. We live out of state and during construction they kept us updated every step of the way. They were very flexible with their start date and suggested small improvements along the way. Looking back we feel like we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect partnership to rebuild this space. Great job DIY crew

Easy and delivered great results. Needed a small piece of stone cut for the top of a custom table. They were very helpful in educating me which pieces would be most durable and stable. It only took them a couple days to work me into their schedule, and the table turned out beautiful.

I cannot say enough good things about this business! Message them on a Tuesday. Gentlemen came to measure and had a quote by end of week. Went over and picked out our granite and had it installed in a week or so. No other company could have come close in terms of cost or time frame. It was actually about 1/2 the cost I had anticipated. And it is GORGEOUS! Must admit. I wasn’t super into this whole project. Just knew my kitchen needed to be updated, but was kind of “ho/hum”?. Not now, I absolutely love it. Walk into the kitchen every morning and stand and stare at these beautiful countertops. (Now, if only I could find a painter that was as prompt and reasonably priced?). Dee Dee is a serious asset. Knowledgeable, patient, all around awesome - as was the entire experience.

We had the pleasure to work with the DIY team in 2021. We'd bought an older home that wasn't necessarily a "Fixer upper" but desperately needed some upgrades. Our first project was the kitchen. Frank and the team were very helpful in providing beautiful granite, exceptional consultation and creative ideas as well as a friendly and professional approach to partnering with us. We're now remodeling 2 of our bathrooms and look forward to having marble vanities installed soon. Great value!

Do NOT go to this company. They will lure you in with low prices but trust me it isn't worth it. We put a down payment to order a specific stone and it took months to come in. Which would be fine, if they hadn't tried to hoodwink us. When my fiance went to approve the layout, I noticed from the pics that he sent that they had actually used a stone that had been sitting in their yard since the first time we went in. When we called them on it, they gave us the runaround for weeks trying to get our down payment back. Wouldn't respond to our calls and it was a complete nightmare. I thought we'd have to take them to court. Finally filed a claim with our bank and got our money back. They lied, tried to get one over on us, and avoided making up for their mistake. Completely unprofessional.

This company has canceled my appointment for an estimate two separate times even after promising they would make the next one. When they finally did arrive on the third attempt, they were late and their technician brought in a trail of dirt from his shoes which is all over my kitchen floors and mats. I now have to spend 30 minutes cleaning up all his mess. To make things worse, when I complained to the scheduling coordinator, rather than apologizing, she told me to take my business elsewhere which surprised me. Very unprofessional.

I see lovely pictures of other projects, but all I got was a damaged house, trash in the yard, a scratched tub, and not enough cabinets to complete the kitchen. I gave DIY Kitchen and Baths, Madison Virginia, a $30K deposit of a $60K job to remodel my mom's home in Oct 2018. After numerous delay excuses they started in January 2019. He quit the job in February 2019 when I started asking him and the tradesmen working in the house questions about the work that was being done. I also, asked several times when he was going to pull a building permit. He said, he pulled it when I knew he didn't, because I called the county. A building permit is a requirement before you start construction when you're adding a new bathroom. Something a class, "A" contractor should know. Legal action is in progress.
